I have been with Nurse Next Door for two years now and I can honestly say it's been the best work environment I have encountered.The Halifax staff are amazing and very accommodating to my specific needs as a single parent and student.If you're interested in homecare, definently give them a try, you won't regret it!

We had nurse next door to come to our home for respite. First day the work came with a RN which was wonderful for the worker.its always nice for the staff to be considered when being sent to private home.They match us up with an amazing worker.she was always on time , the respite was for my brother in law he was very happy spending time with her.We were able to get out for a few hours with no worries.can’t thank them enough.I would recommend them to everyone.Thank you again.

I have had a great experience with Nurse next Door, I love how you can make your own schedule and there is no mandating to stay after your shift. The management is great, if you have any questions they are always there to answer questions or take care of your concerns. They actually care about your health and your not just a number, thanks to Halifax nurse next door management.

Very caring people at The Nurse Next Door. They were extremely helpful in all aspects of my mother's situation. The care worker that we had for my mother was wonderful, kind and lovely. Any questions I had regarding any issue were answered promptly and efficiently! I highly recommend them!

The service was wonderful to work with, highly sensitive to our situation and issue, provided service quickly and gracefully when we were under duress. The care worker was extraordinary, highly experienced yet tender, human and sensitive to our at risk family member and the family need. She was perfect for our family member under difficult circumstances. We were able to rest assured she was safe and well cared for.

I would like to take a minute of your time to let you know about one of your staff and how she looks after my mother.Since this staff member began looking after my mom, the positive change in Mom has improved greatly. The person I am referring to is: Ashlyn Simon who looks after my mother, Gertrude Helpard at White Hills. Ashlyn has made a connection with Mom better than anyone I have seen in the last year. Ashlyn is able to calm Mom when she gets into her needy state or when she gets scared of something. She is Excellent with my mother.Having mentioned a few things in the interaction between Mom and Ashley, I have a request. I would like Ashlyn to remain as the Main caregiver for my mother. I don’t know if they are appointed who they care for or if they choose themselves who they care for.I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the effort that Ashlyn puts forth in caring for Mom.

Nurse Next Door is by far the best employer I've ever had. My bosses are really nice and always ready for support in case that I need them. They always make sure that I have long shift hours at very convenient location, take note even if I have my own car. Nurse Next Door all I can say is a very big blessing to me. It has been a great relief for me to be connected with an agency and a worker who understand s my particular needs for having the services of worker available to me. I have found Nurse next Door to be well trained , compassionate ,concerned ,and Supportive of me and of meeting me where my needs are . My main frustration is that I am not in the position to have them spend more time with me.

Karen has been caring for our daughter who had major leg surgery. Karen is experienced and offers us a piece of mind while my husband and I are at work.Nurse Next Door was able to get us paired up with a Nurse in a day, very quick and very helpful - it really helped us when we needed it!
