Chapala Mexican Restaurant
I enjoyed eating at Chapala Mexican restaurant. It was authentic, homey, comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful. The food was good as well I had menudo and sopapillas. Sopapillas are good.

Chapala Mexican Restaurant
A Mexican restaurant not trying to be anything else. Just straight up good food, atmosphere and a great waitress with a big smile on her face. Warm chips and great salsa, and I left obnoxiously full and totally happy about it.Camarones a la diabla did not disappoint! I thought it was the perfect spice, but my wife looked like she was going to light on fire when she tried one bite.

Pretty disappointed with my takeout order. I ordered a Trio Molcajete and it was so dry, I also ordered 2 Horchatas and the cups were small for how much I paid. We didn’t know of this location since we always go to one on Caldwell Blvd (I thought that’s were I called) we will stick to our favorite Location. My daughters Carne asada was good!

Apparently $16+ For a single combination of 3 enchiladas with shredded beef, doesn’t even net you a small bit of chips and salsa… food tasted fine and was filling, but isn’t worth $16+. Save your Money and take a trip to Fiesta Guadalajara in Meridian, instead. Order pickup, Save a few bucks, and get a complimentary chips and salsa…..

I am absolutely enthralled by this restaurant. The atmosphere alone is worth any price of the food. The authentic food is flavorful and delicious, delivered to your table with much hospitality and a genuine feel of well being. The staff here, which much of them are family as this is a family owned establishment, makes you feel as though your just visiting their home for a home made meal by nana... I give all recommendations and the highest praise. If I could give them more than five stars I would.

Chapala Mexican Restaurant
This is our go-to Mexican restaurant. We eat dinner here every week or two since it is on our way to one of our weekly functions and is one of the better places to eat in the area. The service is usually pretty good and I think we're coming often enough that they recognize us and we them. People are very nice. The food is also good. Not the best Mexican food we've ever had, but definitely better than most places we've gone to in the area. My favorite dish is the Chile Relleno Burito. I had never had one anywhere else, so I guess for this dish, it is the best ever. A bit heavy on the onions in the salsa, but we enjoy it and the chips are usually good. Getting beans with chips and salsa is hit & miss, although we do like it and I'm sure if we asked when it was missing, we would get some. Overall, a good restaurant that we will continue to frequent and bring friends to. Thanks!
