Beaverton Restaurant is a well known must go destination for their famous Fish & Chips plus many other dishes created over the years. Located at the corner of Mara Rd and Victoria Ave in Beaverton you will find this amazing place. You can see the locals picking up their dinners with smiles and small chats. We happened to run across this place on our way to Kawartha Lakes.The owners operators are a happy couple who enjoy what they do. The place is clean and crisp. We ordered their famous Fish and Chip dish and it was excellent. The complimentary coleslaw was also delicious. A definite spot to return to.

I was passing through with some friends and decided to try some fish and chips. Upgraded to a poutine, cause why not? That was about 4 months ago and I crave that meal almost daily haha... if I’m ever in Beaverton again, I will 100% be stopping here.

The fish and chips here are very nice and the owners very friendly and give great service. Not a fancy place but bright and pleasant dining area. Have not tried other menu items yet but tables seemed happy to order items other than the fish and chips.

This place is a favorite among the locals. The owners are super friendly, happy and nice...and they make great food. While I was waiting for my fish and chips, a customer told me that the chicken soup served here was the best she tasted. They serve more than fish and chipsThey've been in this Beaverton business 8 years.

I have a lot of love for this little gem. Your typical family run mom and pop shop. The locals seem to flock to on Sunday morning--we came here stopping in from heading home from Brechin and it was a wonderful delight. Two of the girls had the regular breakfast and it was a large delicious portion--2eggs, 4 piece toasts, 4 breakfast sausages and a smile :). Another friend and I had the fish and chips, herself the cod and for me the halibut and poutine. It was absolutely delicious--a delicious crispy batter and yummy gravy for the poutine. It was a large portion. Took half of it home as takeaway and airfried the next day for that crispy yum!The lady sat us, took our orders and served us. The man was in the kitchen, making our food--it is incredible how the two were so friendly while so efficient serving their customers. We also noticed they knew some of their customers by name and vice versa. Needless to say, i recommend a stop here if you are traveling through.
