Food Island Supermarket

I go to this grocery store often as it’s the most convenient asian grocery store near me but they have a serious plastic waste issue. They often give me plastic bags even when I bring my own reusable ones and their produce section is like the Pacific garbage patch!! There is no reason why produce should be wrapped in multiple layers of plastic or why fruit with natural peels should be individually wrapped with plastic snd styrofoam!! I still come here out of necessity but am always riled by the mass amount of waste!

I like this Asian store for the fish corner they have, fish price is decent but they don’t clean it properly as I expect, I have to guide them every time, but still I keep on going there because of the fish I like.Variety of fresh produce mostly China produce with reasonable price, clean and organized, every weekend is very crowded and busy.The cashier was not helpful nor polite.Lots of free parking spots.Overall it’s not bad.

This place is officially closed today, because of the landlord. Pity to see it gone. The entire community suffers. The plaza feels like abandoned.

This place is pretty huge! You should be able to find most of your Asian groceries here. Produce is pretty fresh, and prices are alright. Meat section is a bit disorganized, and if you want something in particular there's a good chance you'll need to exercise some Chinese. But what did you expect? Cashiers move along quickly, which is good for when you want to quickly get your shopping done. Some products are misplaced or displayed in disconnected locations, which is perhaps unsurprising given the size. Be sure to look around carefully if you do not find what you are looking for at first.

This is a great store to go visit because it has lots of unique items that you don't see in other stores. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the only down fall this store does smell kinda fishy inside because of all the fish they have. There is tons of great Asian food to buy or to try for the first time. There is lots of free parking outside the mall.

It is not first time when I noticed that employee in this store are cheating...Lets do simple math... How much did they cheat on me?For this kind of things, one star is too much...

Great selection and reasonable prices. Best sushi rice prices I've found in London (small bags).

We came to this store in search of fresh fish. Good selection, both fresh and frozen. shrimps, crabs, oysters, mackerel, carp, a lot of things. the prices are adequate, the fish is cleaned and cut into pieces if necessary. very happy to have found it.this shop. that's just not very clean, especially at the entrance repels. but I will come back for fish. .

Food island has everything you need for some really amazing cuisine. I enjoy shopping here for all kids of great products I cant find anywhere else like garlic sprigs. I made some amazing prawn dishes rabbit etc.... as well as curries and tofu. I really enjoyed the large selection of reasonably priced herbs and exotic veggies and fruits. This store has products from all over the world and I really like the pleasant people who work here. The cashiers are always smiling and if I have a question one young man even had me speak into his phone to translate the ingredient I was allergic to. It made me happy he cared so much ! I love shopping here with multi cultural people and food its awesome!

Been shopping grocery here since 6 years ago when taking school. Lots of varieties of choices (all kinds of spices, meat, snacks, veggie and even kitchen and daily tools), extremely fair and affordable prices. It’s still a must go grocery place every time travelling back in London.
