Thomas Hayes Ecological Park Trailhead

Nice place to visit for some easier hiking trails. They are well maintained but there is brush on either side of the trail. Because of this, I would recommend wearing pants and not going after it has rained because your legs will get quite wet. The trails are well marked with signs and lengths shown throughout. There is only a little elevation on the way out when you take the Chipmunk Cut-off but it is not difficult.

Well marked trails of various lengths. Great all season walking. Friendly vibe with the people you meet.

Nice place for a light hike. A 5-10 minute walk in the open grassy field brings you rona decision as to trails and loops or lookouts. We do the right trail down to the binoculars and lookout. Very sweet view and bench. Then we looped back up hill and kids needed rest stops as it was kinda steep.Trail could be a bit slippery and tricky when raining or wet. Real pretty area tho - aside from the poop on the trail and bagged up and left behind. Perhaps better to use the garbage can bear parking area.Washrooms located at the far corner of park area which we didn’t get to. Just a couple others on trail and both very friendly. Hope to come back one day and explore more while visiting friends nearby.

Idk if you can describe a trail as fun, but I think this trail is just that! You get to enjoy all sorts of mini ecosystems. It's quite incredible

This trail is so lovely! There's quite a few different routes to take, some longer and some shorter so that's really cool to have options. It's shaded well from the sun with all the trees, there's a creek or something down there so it's lovely and humid. Great tail, can't wait to come back

Beautiful and very peaceful trails. Really enjoy these trails during the fall season!

Great little network of trails. Mostly forest but it does open up for a nice picnic area down the hill.
