Laszlo and Attila were amazing to work with! They removed all of our old hardwood floors, repaired the subfloor and installed our beautiful new white oak floors and stairs. The work was done to a high quality and with so much attention to detail. We would highly recommend Excellence Flooring to anyone looking to upgrade/change their floors.

My experience with Excellence Hardwood Flooring was fantastic. From the moment I contacted them to enquire about the service, Laszlo and his team were responsive, attentive and knowledgeable.After speaking over the phone, Laszlo came to site a couple of times - even before we closed the deal -, tobetter understand the project, take measurements and bring me various samples (not the small scale ones; the actual floorboards!) to help me decide the right look for my place.I live in a small townhouse and I was impressed with Laszlo and the team's ingenuity and stamina to carefully tuck away my furniture (and even bigger appliances, like my fridge and stove) and perform the work in stages, all of which allowed me to continue living in my house during the renovation.Laszlo's passion for his craft can be seen in the attention he gives to every detail of the work. This is ultimately reflected in the extremely high quality of his finished work. Not only do my floors look beautiful, but they also no longer squeak. The stain on the new handrails and balusters matches the colour of my floors, for a seamless look; the metal spindles were expertly installed and now give my stairs a much needed refresh. I could not be happier with the outcome of the work.If that had not been enough, Laszlo and his team touched up the paint on all of the walls adjacent to the nosings. They more than satisfactorily cleaned up after themselves and put the furniture on the main floor back in place!Laszlo and Excellence Hardwood Flooring go above and beyond to deliver work of the highest quality, at a reasonable price and on time. I highly recommend their work.

Laszlo and Attila installed engineered hardwood flooring on the second floor of our townhouse. The work included some trickier details like nosings and height-matched transitions to tiled rooms. The floors look great, they cleaned up after themselves and finished the work in the amount of time that was mentioned when the job was quoted. We won't hesitate to call them again when it comes time to do flooring in the rest of the house.

Laszlo and his team did our main floor, stairs, upstairs hallway and 1 bedroom during a major renovation. He was highly recommended by the general contractor. We were impressed enough by his work that we hired him to replace the flooring and baseboards in the remaining 2 bedrooms. We couldn’t be happier with his workmanship. During the installation he noticed a problem with the wood floors. He and his team worked on resolving the issue (no thanks to the flooring store) and we are extremely happy with the end result. We were a bit worried about taking equipment up and down the somewhat narrow stairs but he and Attila were very careful. I would highly recommend Excellence Flooring.

Laszlo and team did an incredible job on our hardwood flooring install. Not only were they very professional, they got the job done in 2 days! Throughout the install, Laszlo kept me updated and at they end they had everything perfectly cleaned which made walking in to our new floor a true delight. On top of that, the custom nosing and transitions they made us were 10x better than the manufature grade. Laszlo and team take great pride in their craft and I would definitely recommend!
