I used Calgary Fence and Deck to replace my fence and small retaining wall. The quality of the job exceeded my expectations. The job was done in a reasonable amount of time and the cost was reasonable. I found the workers to be respectful and kept me updated through the job. I would highly recommend them.

Dylan was very professional and Jesse and his crew were very polite, hard working carpenters. They did a great job, asked questions when needed and cleaned up after the work. The fence looks great. We are very pleased with the finished product. Great work guys.

They always confirmed specific details with us as they worked which was great. This made us fully aware of every detail as it happened. We recently had Calgary Fence and Deck come and replace over 130ft of fence in Fortress style. The crew turned up on time and worked long and hard to get the job completed on time. They came back without hesitation to complete a few things. The crew were very hardworking, professional and courteous. We would use them again and recommend them to anyone else as the quote was reasonable and we were delighted with the end result.

We are thrilled with our new fence. The people working on the project were friendly, punctual, and hard working. Everyone wore a Calgary fence shirt so it was easy to tell who was supposed to be present. Jesse and his team are awesome. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for fence work.

I was impressed with the initial service that this company offered. Of the 3 quotes I got, they were in the middle but I liked the way Donna handled the quote so I hired them. After having to contact them 4 times to get an update on the timing, I was told every time there were delays until the final date was set for the end of Sept. I asked if my deck would be completed this year and was ensured it would be. I never heard from them again. No apologies, no communication what so ever. After reading the negative reviews on them, I think I dodged a bullet!

We are very pleased with our experience with Calgary Fence & Deck. They responded very promptly to our request to do a quote. Donna was very good at explaining what they could do and couldn't do within the scope of their work. We did the landscaping work we needed done ourselves. We asked for a few changes to the original work quoted and the job was done in the time frame promised and came in on quote. We have an infill with a small backyard which we had completely filled by patio and we replaced the old fence on one side of the lot. All the work was done within a few days, except the railing. It was subcontracted and was done 2 weeks after the completion of fence and deck. There was no deposit required and no payment required until the wood work was completed. Very good value for the money. We love our new backyard!

I had a fence install completed around August for the most part it went ok, was done quickly which was a plus, down side was they installed my front gate as a RV style gate 6x10 wooden front gate, needless to say this wasn’t practical and not what was wanted, it was agreed that there was a miss communication between ourselves and the installers. In the end the gate was reworked, this took sometime and a number of phone calls to be completed, even though the I believe he was Project Manager called at the end of the job after seeing pictures, agreed to the rework and even agreed this wasn't what they would typical install or recommend. Obvious something went wrong, which is fine I just wanted it fixed.Once the gate was redone it was obvious that it was quickly done and not much care went into it, the wood wasn’t symmetrical, the gate pull hole was splintered by quite a bit, the installer didn’t even make sure it was ok, they never called to see if everything was ok after it was done. I at this point more or less gave up and accepted it. Since winter the gate has become stiff and hard to close, you have to sort of give it a lift into its latch, it’s grinding against the post because the door of the gate has a extended bit, it’s not cut level and has a section that pops out. I than noticed as I was looking to see what I could do to fix it, that the gate hinge was missing screws, installed at an angle, like really missing screws??? There wasn’t even care in installing hinge screws of all things.I hired them because I knew I’d do a bad job installing the fence myself and figured professionals would do better, now I just feel slightly defeated. It might seem little but if you are paying professionals to do a job it should be done well.

We are so impressed with the work Calgary Fence & Deck did. Our property was tricky with a retaining wall and a big tree right on the property line. The project was completed in under 3 days and looks great! The contractors were friendly and took the time to really understand what we were looking for. We are very happy with the work.
