I just traveled to Egypt in March. This tied in a lot for me.Reading reviews, I became skeptical however, if you're interested in a bit of history about Tutankhamun this is a good tie in of history.Waking out, I can say I learned a few things.Nice, self paced exhibit. If you want to see artifacts, go to Egypt!

I read the reviews just hours before our ticket time so maybe I was biased stepping into the exhibit. I knew there aren't any artifacts but I wish it was more immersive. The last room with the full wall to wall digital display was fantastic. It just needed more of that. It just makes me want to visit the museum in Egypt.

Unimpressive and not immersive. A total disappointment and we felt ripped-off having spent that much money. VIP ticket offered nothing but a dollar store type gift back with one cheap bracelet. Long wait in line to experience a history show. It would be good for young students and history buffs to learn info but it’s not in any way a Wow experience like the immersive Van Gogh and Picasso shows. Should be priced at $10. Netflix is better!

This is King Tut rip-off! Not an exhibit. And not immersive either. I paid $49 several months in advance basically for a bunch of YouTube videos projected onto large screens--this is definitely a low-budget National Geographic touring project whose advertisement campaign may be costing more than the exhibit" itself. The souvenirs are also terribly overpriced as I have a fairly large collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts (replicas of course) and I know how much you can get one online. Not worth it especially for people like myself who have been to Egypt and all those top-tier museums and who have read extensively about Egyptology!Given the global inflation

Do yourself a favour and don’t go. Extremely misleading, there should be a disclaimer clarifying you will not be seeing any real artifacts. Just a bunch of mediocre animation videos. Nothing more. I would have been fine if it was $15 but this money grab cost $35.

For the people still thinking if you should go or not, here is some of my thoughts after visiting the show. The ticket is not cheap, $45 for a regular ticket, that is why people really have a high expectation for the show.Overall the show can definitely be a lot better if the show can provide more stuff that guests can interact with or real object relate to the king tut(even replica would be nice), rather than plain picture and slide show. This show is for the people that love history, like to go to museum or similar attraction. Also its for the people that likes to take pictures, (there are some rooms is good for picture, you can take as many pictures as you want.)The whole show is about 45 minutes (if you do watch all the slide shows and spend some time learn about history). This show is not for the people that looking for some dramatic experience.

It’s not for everybody. It’s a history exhibit not just light show. I’ve seen some of the documentaries in nat geo and have a fascination with the pyramids and tombs, so I enjoyed it. I love the last show display and we bought some souvenirs. If you love history you’ll enjoy it.

Cool experience. Projections around the walls are neat to see. VR was cool.Glad the workers take a photo with your phone at the end instead of making you buy them. Some of the narrating in the main hall with music in background prevented people from understand what was said.

Went to see the National Geographic's Beyond King Tut 100th Anniversary exhibit at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Overall it was okay I guess, no artifacts just projections. I was really super tired and sleepy afterwards after seeing the whole thing. The found the VR experience a bit blurry but it was the only thing I found interesting out of the whole exhibit. Not worth the price for the VIP ticket at all but I did get early bird discount rate.
