Lancaster Electric does excellent work and is very reliable. I would used him again and I highly recommend him.

Bad Business...took money.....never showed....rescheduled at least 6 times.....never did work ......refused to refund money......

I used him for plumbing and electrical did a great job and half the price. Showed up on time did his work and left. Great for me didn't have to wait 2 weeks.

Bob was great. Got to the root of the problem quickly and cost was fair. I will use Lancaster electric again!

Having used this firm over the years and again recently, I always found them to be professional and upfront. The estimates were very reasonable and never exceeded the total price quoted. We they finished it was as if they were never there. The work area was always left as found or even better.

Bob is a very intelligent man that is the most reliable man i know and would have have him help me with any of my house hold problems again.

Lancaster Electric runs an unprofessional business. Owner asked for money up front (didn’t totally surprise me-seemed normal to ask for a deposit) but then he was extremely unreliable (rescheduled more than 5 times for arbitrary reasons) and consistently showed up hours late (“I’ll be there at 10am”-showed up at 2pm) OR would not show up at all for a day and failed to call/text to say he was not going to make it. He even asked me for a few hundred dollars in the middle of the job, and when I refused, he said he’d have to take another job to get the money to buy more supplies for my job. He could not commit to any schedule that he set for himself. On his last day of work at my home, he stated that all he had left to service was one hallway; however, he had not even checked/replaced any of my light fixtures which was a service included in my quote. I had to remind him to perform a number of the services outlined in his quote, and he said “oh yea I’ll check them”. I can say with certainty that I do not trust his work, which has made me question my investment.I hope this review helps someone avoid the unfortunate situation I found myself in.

Bob is unreliable . I gave him a deposit for an electric project . He gave me a receipt, and we set up an appointment. He didn't call to cancel, and he didn't show up. He sent me a text message apologizing the next day, with an excuse that his shoulder was bothering him. We set up another appointment. Again , he didn't show up, or call to cancel. I've asked for my deposit back and he hasn't answered . The owner , Bob, is completely unreliable. If you enjoy throwing your money away and being stood up, then this is the company for you . Otherwise, avoid at all costs.(3 days after review ) Bob now reports that he won't refund my deposit because I posted a truthful review. Bob also said if I wanted to take him to court get in line".Avoid this man and this company at ALL costs."

I have used this company many times in the past few years to install a camera around my house and for other purposes. Rob is a very understanding man and quick to respond to my calls. I love his work, because he takes pride in his work, he does a very neat job and his price is very reasonable. He is friendly and reliable and would highly recommend him to family and friends, which I have already done. Keep up the good work Rob and see you soon to do my electrical circuit breakers.
