Great dog grooming establishment. Wonderful employees always greeting me with a smile and so very helpful. They absolutely love pets and it shows! I get my teacup poodle groomed here and I get the teddy bear face cut every time. Every time I am not disappointed.

This review is not about Carmen’s dog grooming services, it is about a very unpleasant experience I had today caused by someone who lives in her house. I have known Carmen for over 15 years beginning when she worked at a dog grooming salon in New West however today she lost all future business from me. I arrived for my dogs appt a few minutes early and she was just finishing up another dog. Upon entry into her grooming area my dog began barking very loudly and would not stop. As he had not done this before I was surprised. A guy from inside the house spoke to Carmen very rudely to shut the noise up as he was trying to work. Carmen did not respond to him. I then asked Carmen if she would like me to wait outside to which she replied yes maybe you better. The minute I stepped outside with my dog the barking ceased. I merely walked him around the side of the house to wait in the shade until she was done with the other dog. Several minutes later the same guy came out and said to me and I am quoting “I am trying to work and you can’t loiter here on the property”. Loiter on the property??? Are you kidding me, I am a paying customer and I am doing what the business owner asked me to do, wait outside. He said he didn’t care he was trying to work and I was not allowed to loiter on the property so I said ok what do you suggest I do then. I told him I had walked there so I had no car to wait in. He again stated the same thing, I was not allowed to loiter. OMG, I asked him where am I supposed to wait then, down below the house on the sidewalk and he said once again he didn’t care but he did not want me loitering on the property. I even pointed out my dog had not barked once since I had been waiting outside so what was the problem. As I proceeded to remove myself and my dog from the property and wait on the sidewalk I realized how absolutely insane and ludicrous this whole situation was so I turned around and said to Carmen “ Carmen I am leaving and I am not coming back. I don’t know who that guy is, if he’s your husband I feel sorry for you, he is a F****** A******.” Carmen did not respond and I made my way down the driveway, starting to walk home. He then came to their gate in the fence and proceeded to yell at me all kinds of things including NOT TO COME BACK………..lol now seriously you crazy loser do you really think I ever would????? Good job on losing business for Carmen who has always been so great to deal with. I was disappointed she did not try to intervene when he was yelling at me for doing what she told me to do, wait outside. However with that lunatic in her house I would not feel safe ever going back there and if my dog started barking and I wasn’t there, who knows what he would do. Carmen is a very nice person and an excellent dog groomer but if you don’t want to get yelled at by this crazy person, don’t ever wait outside on her property, even if she asks you to.

I have been taking my dog to Carmen for the past several years now. Before Carmen, I simply could not find a groomer that could give my dog a normal haircut and make him look like a normal dog. All other groomers would poodlize" my dog to the max

Carmen has been grooming my dog for many many years and she always does an excellent job. She is extremely skilled, very professional, and we trust her wholeheartedly.

We're so glad to have found Carmen since our last groomer closed shop last year. Since then, we've become loyal devotees. Our senior Havanese, Pearla, has never liked a groomer more. Usually she sulks before an appointment and barks after one, but with Carmen she's as chill as a cucumber.This makes it pretty clear that Pearla is treated kindly - plus she also comes out looking and smelling like a million bucks! We highly recommend Posh Dog Grooming to everyone with a dog.

Been taking my dog Nori here every 6 weeks for almost a year now. Carmen is a very talented groomer and gets the teddy bear look perfect. She also handles my dog extremely well - my dog hated other groomers but she always comes back happy and calm with Carmen. Highly recommend!

I've been taking my schnauzer poodle Fred to see Carmen at Posh Dog for years and love the service and how much she clearly loves every dog that she works with. Fred always comes out looking fresh and fantastic!
