Cloud 9 Adventures

I first encountered Cloud 9 Adventures on a trip we took up to the Shubenacadie river to run the tidal bore and waves in 2018. It was our first time in such an environment, and the group had mixed levels of rough water kayaking skills. Jarrod and the team did a phenomenal job with the group. From explaining the basics, to leading and teaching all through the day. His attention to each individual's strengths and weaknesses and ability to be right there next to you to encourage and advise in the moment, all while making us feel safe and excited was awesome. Since that day we've met up with Cloud 9 in various locations and it has become clear that is just how they operate. I can't say enough for this outfit, and look forward to future trips with them!

This company is world class! I have been on quite a few programs over the last two years and each one has been a positive experience, all the participants have had great feedback. The locations chosen have been very appropriate and just the right amount of challenging allowing for a great balance between perceived risk and reward. This company is top notch !! I participated in a rough water program last season and a Paddle Canada Level 3 . And Jarrod really knows his stuff and is super easy to talk to and is very concerned about his students progress !! I will be doing more with him in 2020 , as a matter a fact I have already signed up for a program already !!

I attended the Blue Hill weekend Adventure with Cloud 9 this May. It was a perfect balance of challenging conditions, welcoming atmosphere and respectful coaching. The participants had a fairly wide range of skill level but no one felt left out. Everyone had level appropriate coaching throughout the weekend and there was a sense of teamwork created between the participants. Jarrod did a masterful job of making everyone feel welcome and kept a nice balance of fun and learning. I wholeheartedly recommend my friends to Jarrod every chance I get for these adventures; he is hands down the GO TO provider on the East Coast of Canada.

We have paddled with this outfit on the Shubie in rough water sessions and taken some skills courses. The atmosphere was pure fun! I highly recommend taking any course with Jarrod! He is a solid coach and mentor to anyone looking to get on the water! If your looking to build in any skill in 2020, make sure you join up with Cloud9!
