Got to know Jay as a co-worker for a couple of years. When he said he was going to open up a barber shop of course I was going to check it out. I was thoroughly impressed by the mens den" decor of his quaint shop. I was even more impressed by the hair cut! Jays attention to detail shows as I always feel confident that I'm good for 4 weeks till my next cut. Well worth the drive from Welland to see my new barber."

Yesterday, I had the great enjoyment of walking in to The Local Barber for a haircut. This is just what I've been looking for - a real barbershop for guys. I always appreciate watching someone who really knows what they are doing, and Jay knows what he's doing. I am already looking forward to my next visit and may even let the whiskers grow a bit to take advantage of a hot towel shave as well. I highly recommend a visit, especially if you're living in Lincoln or West St. Catharines.
