We wanted a snack after our walk and didn't make reservations at any of the restaurants. We ordered lattes, a parfait, chocolate croissant, and a plain croissant. They have a handful of tall tables. There are no chairs, but there is seating by the windows. There is a restroom nearby. Somedays only hotel guests may make purchases. They didn't ask us and the place was empty.

I felt that the coffee (cappuccino pictured) was disappointing for the price. Stick with the room Nespresso and save $5 if you have the choice. Very pleasant service, however.

So this place was cute. We bought two vegetarian wraps, a drink and chips. The baked goods looked really good! But we had to make a comment about the wraps…..we didn’t like them at all really. They were bizarre to say the least. It had asparagus, sun dried tomatoes, an almost Asian slaw and yams. With really no dressing. The best part was the spinach wrap it came in. The veggies didn’t blend at all together. Nor did it have a theme. Sun dried tomatoes can be VERY overwhelming…. We almost spit them out because honestly it was weird. And then you would get a bite with asparagus….and then the almost Asian cabbage slaw. Anyways cute little spot but really need to work on this wrap.

The attendants were very pleasant. We ordered hot chocolates for the kids and they offered a kid's temperature" drinks. The drinks were not very sweet. A bit pricey because it is in a hotel but otherwise very good."

We stopped by before heading out for an intense hike to Devil's Thumb. Great cafe with loads of treats. Standing and sitting areas are in the hallway, so you can consume your food on the premises. There are public bathrooms. There is also a water bottle fill up station. See photos for reference. There aren't many on Google now, so I am uploading a bunch. To get here: There is a bridge from the parking area. Google took us a weird way: To the lake then around to the Fairmont. Extra 5 mins. Just cross the bridge and head left from Parking if your goal is food/drink. Short walk. Enter The Guides Pantry left of the main Fairmont doors. The doorway isn't marked. You'll see The Guide's Pantry through the large windows upon approach to the hotel from the Parking area.

Located inside the Fairmont hotel is this newly renovated bakery/deli snack cafe area (grab and go style with no seating area). You can find a lot of baked goods (ranging from $5-8) to fresh cut fruits and yogurt parfaits. A wide selection of drinks as well from your standard warm/hot drinks to canned to cold brews. They also serve hot food such as burgers and pizza ranging from $25-30. Everything here is nearly displayed and clean (as expected in a Fairmont). The gorilla bread (banana bread with walnuts and chunks of chocolate) I would recommend. It is a heavy, moist and luxurious banana bread with a thick cut. The plain croissant was the ok - Not as flaky as one would expect (on that particular day at least). The fruit bowl was good for freshness and ripeness. Ladies behind the counter were helpful. Overall a good place to grab a snack post hike or as a coffee break - just expect Fairmont pricing.

unfortunately they don’t sell for tourists not staying at the Hotel. So do not waste your time going there

Always good food here, and had 2/3 of our meals here while at the FCLL!Breakfast was usually a delicious Saskatoon Berry Scone and an Americano (tastier than drip brew).Lunch was one of 3 types of Panini: Cubano, Braised Beef, or Brie and Chicken. I had them all, but my favourite was the Braised Beef. Chase it down with a Grizzly Paw Root Beer!If you spot a gigantic Chocolate Chip Cookie, buy it. It is crispy around the edges and chewy in the middle. It is literally everything you want in a cookie.Be patient as they warm your scone or panini, then enjoy!

While not perfect, quite good! Nice array of options. In the morning they have breakfast sandwiches on bagels (not customizable but good). The berry scones are excellent. The Museli is made with Greek Yogurt and is quite good. There is a crowd (long line) from 6:30am to 9:30am, but they do try to move it along. In the peak season (August) there is a sign indicating it is reserved for hotel guests.
