The baked pork chop rice was good rice was a little firm if you like more tangy tomato sauce than you may very well like this dish pork chop is tender and seasoned portions are good and came out hot cheese could be a bit more does not come with drink which is a downer. Hoi Nam chicken rice soup was good could be more hot rice was okay I did like the chicken as it was free range more chewy better if boneless will be back for more

New menu with new name and it’s already buzzing. Asian fusion food with bubble tea. Tried the Dan Dan noodles with deep fried pork chop, ramen and pork chops are good but the peanut sauce is lacking in the soup. The Korean style pork chop sandwich is nothing special. Menu choices with a sticker are combos with a beverage of tea or coffee. The Hong Kong style tea is good and smooth. Seating is tight at the entrance. There are a lot of staffs but somehow needed to ask a few time for the tea to come. Hopefully it will smooth out the operations soon.

Yummy food, the chef cook wellCurry Beef stew is good. Beef is soft enough and tastes well. Bake tomatoes ,pork willFried rice is yummy.must have.The flied chicken is cooked well。I think when u order the drink, u must mention less sugar and less ice.The location is good.It's better to go at not high time.Pretty full at holidays.Overall ,we like the restaurant and will come back for sure.

For was very good. Sauce for the rice porkchop tasted like it was homemade and not regular pasta sauce. Milk tea was also very good.But they close st 7:30pm, and stop taking customers at 7:00pm which is very early, so come in early for dinner.

The customer service is great. Food is delicious, they provide a wide variety of food for customer to choose. We ordered an all-day steak and egg meal and a curry beef tendon rice. The beef tendon is surprisingly soft and tasty. And the steak and egg portion is big and good. Great food and service, highly recommended.

Was surprised to find out Chef Papa's replacement is an HK café. Food tastes like your typical HK café cuisine, but certain dishes' presentation looks impressive. I find the portion of their chicken steak to be on the smaller scale, and the fact that 2/3 meals I ordered did not come with the standard milk tea/lemon water made me withheld one star. Black pepper chicken steak on rice generally comes with drinks (and soup) at other HK restaurants. Pics on their menu looks delish, may come back to try them out another time.

Overall food and service not bad except the baked porkchop rice the tomato sauce find it too sour. Ice milk tea is good. Will come back to try other dishes. Didn't know there was 10% discount until we got the bill.~~~~~~~~~~~~We returned tonight to try other dishes. We ordered two curry sauce and egg w/chicken steak and porkchop on rice (日式咖哩蛋包飯), one baked curry chicken steak (焗咖哩雞扒飯)and one brown sauce and egg w/chicken steak on rice (燒汁雞扒蛋包飯). Curry sauce was good yet the brown sauce we find it too salty. The porkchop were just 3 thin slices vs when we first went the baked porkchop rice, the porkchop was better like the portion and thickness. Will return to try their afternoon tea.

Great HK style cafe.Used to be Chef Papa Tea & Noodle Bar. Kept most of the interior design and settings.Nice and easy to read menus.Good portions and flavours.Red wine braised short ribs could have a stronger red wine flavour though.The hot coffee/tea mixed drink was could also be more flavourful and creamier.Overall good service and experience.

Overall pretty good. Baked dish - you can choose between pork or chicken and rice or spaghetti. I got the baked pork chop spaghetti and I liked the sauce, very good. Pork chop itself was okay. The other dishes we got were also decent! Things that have a sticker on the menu include a drink. Would definitely come back to try more.We came on a Friday evening and it was really busy at 6pm but the wait moved pretty quick. Note they close at 7:30pm and last call is 7:15pm.Servers were quite friendly but they did forget to put in an order for one of our dishes so had to wait a bit..

Tried out this new HK cafe which has been rebranded by the same owners of the predecessor restaurant, Chef Papa. Expect a line as lots of people are eager to try this new spot.We got the baked Portuguese chicken rice, red wine beef brisket stew with tornado egg and rice, and the HK style curry fish balls and fish siu mai.Starting with the good, the Portuguese chicken rice was really good with a rich and creamy Portugese sauce. The tornado egg was made well too.In terms of misses, the red wine beef stew is a bit flat and lacks complexity. I think the sauce can be reduced more and the plating of this made it painfully clear that there are just 5 pieces of beef.The curry fish ball and fish siu mai was really bad. the curry sauce is good but there was no distinct flavour in the fish ball and the fish siu mai was all flour and undercooked. you could still see the opaque gritty white flour and it was room temperature at best.Service is efficient enough but they seem a bit understaffed and still experiencing the initial opening struggles which is understandable. No takeout at the moment.
