Schwartzentruber Music Services

Based on my associated experience with this company, I would not recommend them. I was an MC for a wedding in the summer who had hired this company. Unfortunately, without advanced noticed, they had hired a 3rd party to work this wedding because “they had another wedding to attend.” The bride and groom had reached out a week before to ensure that the DJ received all the requested songs and was ready to go. The day of, the 3rd party DJ was given no notice of any recommendations including the ceremony song, signing of the papers, first song, entrances, mother/father bride/groom songs, etc. As an MC I didn’t want the bride to know and felt as though I (with my partner) was running around trying to gather all information possible for the DJ to have things run more smoothly. In addition, they were lucky to have a wedding planner that had a list of their requested songs. It was all very disorganized, stressful and unpleasant situation for the bride and groom. Music sets the tone for the wedding and this company did not give the bride and groom what they wanted. Thankfully, the third party was a very kind man who did his best with what he was given by the wedding coordinator and wedding party the day of. Unprofessional.

We hired Schwartzentruber Music Services for our wedding and from our first communications with Derek to our big day, they were amazing! The process was so easy leading up to our wedding and the website made us confident we were on the same page. The DJ played all our favourite songs, while also taking song requests from guests, and went the extra mile on multiple occasions throughout the night to make it perfect. The dance floor was full all night long! We would highly recommend Schwartzentruber Music Services for anyone looking for a DJ for their upcoming wedding or event!

I got engaged in November 2021 and I knew I HAD to have Tammie perform DJ services for my upcoming wedding (I was willing to work my wedding date around Tammie to ensure I had her perform at my wedding!). Both my sisters had Tammie DJ at their weddings even.I can not express in words how amazing Schwartzentruber Music Services is. Tammie really knows how to read a crowd and keep everyone on the dance floor for hours on end.I would recommend Schwartzentruber Music Services 100 / 100!

We had the pleasure of having DJ Donna at our surprise wedding this past weekend. Having a ‘surprise’ wedding can be challenging, but having vendors like Donna who were so easy to work with, and so helpful made pulling off our perfect day a success. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception, Donna read the crowd and played a great selection of music. She was so fun, and kept our party rocking! Tammie Schwartzentruber and Schwartzentruber Music Services came highly recommended and they did not disappoint!Tammie performed both services for our wedding. She was both our officiant, as well as our DJ, and we couldn’t have been more pleased!Tammie was incredibly easy to work with from the moment we booked her and her services.She was very communicative and professional throughout the entire process. Her online portal for both the ceremony and reception details were very thorough and easy to use. It covered all the bases needed for both services. Tammie made the entire process very straight forward and easy for us, which was very much appreciated during the wedding planning process.Prior to our ceremony, Tammie came in to speak with me. She was very calm, warm, and kind and assured me that the ceremony would be absolutely perfect. Tammie officiated our ceremony exactly as we had requested; short and sweet! We had several guests comment on how smooth our ceremony was and how they appreciated a shorter service.From our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception music everything was exactly as we had hoped for. Tammie followed our music list perfectly and ensured everything ran seamlessly. Tammie went above and beyond in every aspect of our wedding!I cannot recommend or thank Tammie and Schwartzentruber Music Services enough for everything they provided for our wedding day, it was absolutely perfect!

We used Schwartzentruber Music Services for our recent wedding and had Donna as our DJ and MC. She did an absolutely fabulous job of accommodating all of our requests and keeping the evening flowing and lively. Derek did a wonderful job of combining 2 songs for our first dance and the planning tool ahead of time makes things very easy! I would highly recommend them for any of your DJ/MC needs

Derek was an amazing selection for our wedding. His company was easy to work with prior to the event; I was never worried about what I was going to get the day of.During our wedding we found him to be very attentive to our needs and he was always checked in to make sure we were on the same page. He really listened to what our dream was and executed it precisely.He kept the party going all night!!We 100% recommend going with Derek if you need a great DJ!

The website they have set-up to add all of your songs/layout for the day was super easy to use, and he even went out of his way to contact us one month before to see if we needed any assistance.On the wedding day, everything went smooth, the sound was great, he played all of our requests and he kept the dance floor bumping. Derek and his wife tammy were both out dj/mc for our wedding. they did amazing, there site is super easy to use to choose your music and to request songs. they kept the music up beat and played 99% of our request that we asked for from cocktail hour to dancing the night away. couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Derek was the DJ at our recent wedding, and we were so happy with his work! The planning app he uses made it easy for us to share information with him leading up to our wedding. Additionally, he was happy to work with my mom so that my father-daughter dance song could be a surprise! On the day of the wedding, Derek did an amazing job incorporating our guests’ requests into the songs he played - the dance floor was busy for the entire evening. We would highly recommend Derek for anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or event!
