Gateway Dental - Dr. Hasina Somani

I have been to a handful of dentists in the last few years, and out of them all I would highly recommend Dr Somani. She is kind, caring and gentle. Dentist visits are not enjoyable, but she makes your visit better. I will continue to come back and see Dr Somani, even if I no longer live in Mission.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I had an experience there recently for a dental cleaning and dental check up. I had booked an appointment four months in advance and to my surprise when I came in, their office did not save my extended health insurance on file so I was told that I would have to pay for the service out of pocket due to their mistake. After going back and forth, they managed to contact my extended health for my coverage. During my appointment, I had to ask the dentist to check my oral health as she did not herself notice that I had issues with my mouth. Upon me telling her this, she told me that she would book a specialist appointment for me within a day. It has been two weeks and I have not heard from their office. The receptionist did not book me for a follow up cleaning and despite booking my appointment four months in advance, they had not requested any of my information from my previous dentist, all of which I had requested. To top it off, there was no toothbrush, floss, or toothpaste given. If you care about your dental health, don't go to this place.

Great place. Friendly staff. They're very helpful and great with my 6 year old. Been going here 6 years and I've always happy with their services.

My mom recommended Dr. Somani. She’s very kind, nice and patient. The staff is really friendly and awesome. I went in for a root canal and some fillings, the staff and Dr. Somani took their time with the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

I have been going here since 2013 and always super satisfied when I leave and they have always been super patient with my 6 year old which means alot to a mom with a shy child

Right from walking in the door the staff here turn what can be a normally pretty unpleasant experience into something much more. Barb is so kind and friendly that, honestly, I would continue to use Gateway as my dentist even if just to have her helping me out. Luckily for me she is not the only thing going for this place. :) Dr Somani is knowledgeable and skilled. I'm happy to say she's done a great job with my teeth and is always happy to spend the time filing or adjusting anything I'm not fully satisfied with.

Awesome people . Very efficient, on time, and such nice surroundings. I feel totally comfortable at every appointment. Was just at Gateway Dental April 6th, 2023. They are the best. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Professional, caring, extremely patient and such a family atmosphere. Easy going office. Barb knows everyone. WAY TO GO GATEWAY DENTAL !!!

Nothing for kids. No TV. No verbal communication for my kids with their cleanings. Dentist doesn’t check teeth after cleaned. Cleaning was sub par (Deb). My husband never got his call back for approvals for his crowns. 6 no on this later, going back to our abby dentist.

Dr Somani is a very personable, skilled dentist and she's been My dentist for more than 5 years. The team at Gateway are all friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable. I'm so glad to have a team that I can trust to look after my dental health. The bright office is also fabulous, with the latest in tech and comfort. I enjoy my visits with them!

I had to make an emergency appointment which resulted in having a tooth pulled. Everyone here was so very nice and despite my pain and fear, put me right at ease. Dr. Somani is the best dentist I have ever come across. She was so very concerned about my wellbeing throughout the procedure. I will definitely be returning, and as I have a fear of dentist, this says something. This is the best dental clinic in Mission! Thank you so much to all the staff.
