Been here many times over the years. It's very consistent. The sausages are always great, always loved the boerwurst (South African beef sausage). Today opted for the chicken schnitzel sandwich which was great and filling and surprisingly good value. It's a shame beers are all SO expensive. Think the cheapest draft beer is 9.50. I'd def drink more here if it wasn't so expensive.

Stopped in after a Jays Sunday afternoon game (around five). No problem getting a table. All of the tables with a view to King street were reserved. I had the venison sausage ($14) which was very good. Shared a duck fat fries ($8) which also was good. Portions were good.Bench style seating at large tables. You walk up to the grill to place your order and they then bring it to your table. We had quick service.There are a set of steps to get up to the restaurant. I forgot to take notice if it is wheelchair/walker friendly.Quite liked it and would go again.

We went here for a team lunch and absolutely loved it. Amazing prices, great delicious food and plenty of seating. The fondue set was a stand out

Had a great time here! The customized sign stationed at our reserved table was a pleasant and sweet surprise for our birthday people. Our group of 10 were seated at a dimly lit and relatively private corner with a large table and backless benches. Coat racks and hooks conveniently available to coordinate with their simple rustic decor. Service is different here but friendly nonetheless: you have to order at the counter, receive a number then the food will be delivered to your table accordingly.As someone who enjoys trying new things, I decided to try the kangaroo sausage (it’s rare to find a place that serves this type of meat, now I can say I had kangaroo before :P). The taste was alright - I personally wouldn’t get it again. Their duck fat fries and fondue on the other hand - highly recommend!! Fondue was especially fun & delicious to enjoy with a group.Roadside paid parking and you’d have to climb a set of staircase to reach the restaurant. Washrooms and location was relatively clean. Food prices are pretty high in my opinion, but overall, good hangout spot.

Went with a German friend, found the food not too authentic but good enough for outside of Germany. Had Schnitzel und Oktoberfest wurst. Beers were nice, we also had Jagermeister shots.

This is a must visit place if you are in Toronto. This place serves all kinds of meat, regular and game, and they are superbly tasty. It also vegetarian/vegan friendly. So whatever is your choice, you will find it here. The beer is also very refreshing, especially on a spring/ summer afternoon.

Great food, great beer, great vibes. In a spacious place. Nothing more I can ask for. Yes it’s a little pricey but the food here is good!!! This is exactly the kind of chill place that you want to go to on a casual night with friends. I had the duck sausage, chicken schnitzel, and duck fat fries! Amazing! Was pleasantly surprised by how juicy the sausage was. And the schnitzel was HUGE. Kinda sad it took me so long to come here. But so glad I did!

I've been here with my colleagues otherwise I would never choose to come here. I've never been to Germany to compare the vibe they advertise. IMHO it's too clean to be a Soviet Union pub I used to see, and too plain to call it a restaurant.So once I am already here I choose to try a firm sausage rather than go with burgers which I usually have in such places. The meat was nice but dry, and it's a small sausage for such an amount of sides. The sauce they served saved the meal. Dirty Fries" was not actually dirty

Great variety of sausages and beer! I had been craving a merguez for a while, and they had it! The service was quick and efficient. I think the game on tv was too loud for when you want to chat with your friends, so I had to scream at mine (but that's my personal opinion and I know I have a low tolerance for loud music/noises, so if you do not, then you'll be fine). I would come back for the food.

Went here for Friday night dinner. Place was relatively empty so easy to find a table. Solid environment with good music and great service. For the table, we got the fondue which was absolutely sublime!! Definitely order! Best dish of the night. For mains, I ordered the Juicy Lucy which was alright...nothing amazing (I suppose that's what happens when you get a burger at a sausage joint). On the side I got duck fat fries which were very tasty!
