It is place they sell near the 'Best Before date'.. but the food is still good. Most food would rot in 4 days if left outside. That means don't buy lots and keep the food in the refrigerator. But there are kinds of food would last much longer than 4 days, eg dry or near dry foods, like cereals, rice, flours, nuts, chips, dried fruits, fruits with skin, etc. I also find the whole milk, Almond milk, coconut milk and soya milk, yugart, sour cream, cottage cheese also last long time if keep in the refrigerator.

The selection is very sparse, the pricing will rise randomly, sometimes by 100%. All items are donated near to expiry dates and are sold at prices above the places that donated them. Staff will play games with the pricing and make attempts to scam you. Avoid this location.

Too pricey for a discount store that receives most of their items as a donation. Greedy people. There old moldy and damaged groceries are as same price as regular stores!

They wouldnt let me shop there, the lady said I needed to be disabled or be on welfare. So she let me shop (how merciful and benevolent). I'll admit the prices are dangerously cheap. As it should be cuz EVERYTHING was expired.

Doesn't seem to have much stock since their fire.Allowed the new liquor store to commandeer most of the parking near entrance without a word of protest. Staff are hard to find, prices are hard to find, staff won't give straight answers about the best days to shop for certain donated items. I know, it's a charity, but Geeez....

I used to shop here for many years and it was so helpful but now .. I am writing a review because I am disgusted and upset with your Burnaby location 7753 6th Street. I was in there today (July 31st) and was disgusted by the amount of moldy food being sold as well as well past expired food INCLUDING milk products... You could visibly see the yogurt lids were expanded from the pressure inside due to being several days expired and not even in the fridge. They were on display near the produce ( which was ALL mushy and QUITE moldy), it wasn't cold enough to keep this produce stored fresh and the yogurt was warm. Today was July 31st...and these yogurts expired July 26th. You can't sell visibly moldy food and expired milk products...people will get sick! We need help..but aren't that desperate to make a special trip all the way to quest to save SOME money and get almost all expired food and moldy unsafe foods. The pricing in the store has gone up quite a bit to the point...it isn't much cheaper to shop at quest ESPECIALLY with food quality like that. Again I am appalled and disgusted and am not sure I will be back to shop, I may have to get less at a grocery store because at least I know I won't get sick!

Shop here if you have no idea what the original cost of the item is at a regular store FRESH and non-EXPIRED. They charge full price for expired items including meat dairy and moldy produce.

I assume it's ok. Never been there and don't know what it is. Google has demanded a review so here it is. If you feel like stopping in here, you should, but if it doesn't seem like your kind of place, them probably avoid it. Or go check it out, you might be surprised. The staff are all getting paid hourly and their products are most likely for sale in exchange for legal tender of most types. They are on a road, near other buildings and sometimes a dog might walk by, which is a huge bonus if you like dogs. So anyway, always be yourself, unless you can be a moose, in that case, always be a moose

Really invasive customer service, they like to follow you around the store and yell at you if you're wearing headphones. The store reeks of mold, urine, the shelves are filthy and disorganized, and the floors are repugnant. I saw a box of Cheerios with the lid taped shut with packing tape, and a weird gooey stain on the box. They want you to get a membership card to shop there, but they don't explicitly state on the front doors you need one.Has a provincial health inspector seen the inside of this store recently? It looks like it's ready to be condemned.
