Birchard D Dr

After chemical explosion almost blew my hand off, Dr. Birchard was my surgeon when I arrived at Belleville Hospital. I had a double fracture, both my hand and wrist were broke. I feel very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon, he did a miraculous job of repairing my hand and wrist.He was not sure how much use I would have of my hand and wrist and it has been just over a year and I am able to do everything I did before the accident. Recovery for me was shorter than expected and from the bottom of my heart I thank Dr. Birchard .

Courteous, efficient with his time and great results from an orthopedic point of view. Thank you and your staff, lucky to have you do my surgeries and give me a good quality of life.

Rude and dismissive. No help when complication set in. Simple trigger finger had me off work for 2 months. Still does work right.

Not very good bedside manners. Administrative assistant bossy and condescending, don't really give a dawn about the patient story. All that seem to matter is to get you on the operating table and chi-ching on the Ohip card. Social skills : zero. Don't care what profession you are in! Show some empathy god dawn it

My experience with Dr. Birchard was superb. While he does have a business-like approach, his explanation of the problems and the procedure were superb. I don’t particularly want somebody to be nice. What I appreciate is his competence. 2 new hips later he has given me my life back.

Very pleasant! Had my trigger thumb fixed, no more clicking for this thumb yeah!!!!!
