The place was clean, well kept, personel was very nice.

I adopted my kitty here, clerk was nice to us and I like the fact they have a nice small space for all the kittens to play and be active. Definitely a lot more choice here for young cats than other places we visited. We got all his papers, vaccines certificates and appointment to spay him and install microchip. I'm really happy with my new baby!

I adopted my cat Dixie, at this shelter. As a first impression the place smells like cat piss and it does not smell clean at all. I saw my cat caged in a furrets cage and she was very scared of people. The staff was very rude. It took me and my partner over 30 minutes before getting to talk with someone from the staff.. The price for the animals are okay, considering all of the vaccines and sterilization that comes with it. The adoption was fast and we got to do her vaccines very fast as well. I came back few days ago so that my cat could get her vaccines and the staff was very RUDE towards me. In general the place isn't so bad. I think they need more staff and the place should be more clean so it's more livable for the animals.

Zen Refuge shelter is a great place. I adopted my first dog there just a few days ago. They are so kind with the animals.

Very bad place , my friend had a dog wich she was really close to and had him since he was born, they wanted to keep the dog but couldn’t because they needed to move out .When she finally could have a dog again she found him at this place . When we arrived , she just wanted to touch him and she was crying so bad and they were firm about her NOT EVEN TOUCHING HIM. They offered overpriced money for the dog just because the lady wanted to take advantage of the situation . Another lady came in for the dog , and they lied about the dog not barking and being so kind wich is not true , because he’s only kind to the family he has known since he was born . I’m never stepping at that place again for sure . Worst experience ever .

If you want get scammed and pay nearly 2-5 k on top of what you paid for at this so called shelter go ahead you can take this as a normal review but this no jokesA person I know brought a dog for 650 dollers only to have her heart broken and had rush the dog with 24 hours to a vet to save the dog because of these so called nice people who was looking after the dog in there establishment didn’t do proper care or proper checks before selling the animal and this place will blocks you when confronted about and issues with your pet,they don’t and won’t respect consumers or there money they are just pure greedy people who think it is fine to take peoples money so at all costs avoid this place or just have your heart broken too

I called to inquire about this shelter & when speaking English, the receptionist hung up on me. I attempted to call back twice and the calls were sent to voicemail after a few rings. Horrible first impression

One year ago, I had just lost my beautiful dog Gracy , a 3 pound Yorkie of 12 years of age from cancer, and one year before that my 13 yo chihuahua from heart failure besides treatment. I was devastated. All my dogs come from refuges. Eventhough a dog doesn't replace another dog, I was actively looking for a small dog to whom I could give love, and receive. I've had dogs all my life and work for the protection of animals. Zen refuge were the one to bring me this immense joy when I adopted Picapica, my chihuahua of 5 years old. They are doing an amazing job and would encourage anyone responsible " who wish to add a furbaby to their home to contact them. I've had Picapica for a year now
