KRB Construction and Renovation

Andrew and his crew performed good quality work. Andrew is good at keeping in touch and responds quickly to all calls and messages. In particular his roofing crew showed a lot of skill in doing a difficult job.

BEWARE: Doug Webster General Manager prepared Quote and took deposit June 1,2020 payable to #'d business 1224355 B.C.Ltd. and didn't show up to do the work. He gave excuses that he was in US at mother's death bed in July & has sinces stopped responding! My neighbour is now out the $1000.00 & having to pay someone else to have the work done!

I will like to give zero stars! They did not start the project on time and they never finished. They started in October 2019 to replace a deck and install a door and fencing. They built the deck wider that it was supposed to be. Took away the old fencing. Installed then 'Dutch door' but it is crooked. I now need someone to correct this so the door handles and locks can be installed and lined up. the painting is not finished. The replacement fence was to be installed by Thanksgiving... Still no fence. So a very big drop off from deck. They do not return calls, emails or messages. What they have done is not finished and what has been done is not a great job. I would never recommend this company.

KRB Construction did not disappoint! We gave them a chance and glad we did. We dont normally give full stars. 5 stars for being prompt, professional and having the willingness to assist with our project, even after hours. Highly recommend this company! We are incredibly happy to have found KRB Construction for our home renovation. Andrew the owner is a rare find. He provided us with everything we needed for demolition, plumbing, electrical, framing, drywalling, the list goes on. We were on a tight budget and Andrew was mindful every step of the way to help keep our costs down. We weren't in town when him and his crew were working on the house, but he kept us updated with regular photos on their progress. He's upfront, honest, and an absolute professional. Andrew did high quality work, did what he said he would do, charged what he said he would charge, and finished when he said he would finish. He's also just an all around nice guy; easy to get along with and quick to respond to any questions we had. We'd definitely hire him again - thanks for all the great work.

BE WARNED!!! We looked online for a contractor and came across great reviews regarding KRB Construction. We hired Doug for a basement renovation. He gave us a window of time and insured that everything would be done. That was in February of 2020. It is now July. He has left our property in complete chaos. The job is almost completely unfinished. He has not paid the trades men who are now knocking on our door looking for money. Not only that but we are out a great sum of money as well. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

We are so pleased with the job Andrew and his crew did. From the quote to the final touches , this job was nothing short of absolute professional, experienced people taking care to finish the job in a quick and timely manor. Nothing was overlooked. I certainly appreciate the total knowledge every trade comes with. I could contact Andrew with any questions at any time and he was always prompt in getting back to me. KRB went over and above my expectations and I will be using them again for the next reno I have. Excellent pricing. You will not regret choosing KRB Construction . Thank you Andrew!

Stand up guy. Professional, reliable and fair.

Our project, a bathroom renovation, was to start in November and was never completed. Doug went completely silent, not responding to emails etc. and we became aware long after we paid him, that he didn't pay the trades amounts owed. We had to repurchase bathroom fixtures and have it completed by someone else. Now a shower is leaking and we're not sure what damage it has caused to the rest of the house. We feel a need to warn others. Clearly there has been a change in this company since the good reviews it received earlier.

I had a great experience with this company! They are vary knowledgeable professionals who informed me about every step of the process ! And got it done with great speed! Great job KBR!
