Germain Larivière Store Brossard (DIX30)

The products are nice be beware of delivery. You pay for a delivery (It’s an external cue they hire) and when they get here the guys are inexperienced and damage walls and floors. So disappointed. I thought going here there would be better service and care then other furniture stores. The after sale service is horrible. You just get transferred all over the place.

Worst service provided. Don’t bother buying anything there. Bunch of snobs work there. The salesman are never there to help you. Never going there again. Purchased washer and dryer and continued to lie on the delivery date. Don’t care about customer service.

Nice furniture and decor. However, to pay for an item it takes forever. Would not be back based on that!

Ordered a tv module, with a carpet and a living room table in February 2022. The clerk told us that it would be about 7 months before I receive the furniture which was not ideal but I accepted nonetheless. When they delivered the furniture (last week of August 2022) they assembled the tv module and didn't realise they had the wrong screws so it went straight through. They also had the wrong living room table. The delivery clerks told me to not worry, someone from the company will contact us to repair the mistakes. I had to contact them myself more than a week later for them to tell me that they're sorry but the living room table was elsewhere and they would be in touch when they have it and are ready to deliver it with the new tv module.I then received a call from them telling me they were ready to deliver the furniture. They transferred me to the delivery office which sent me directly to voicemail. I tried calling the day after and same, voicemail.Now I call today(September 29th 2022), and they tell me they don't have the furniture and they'll call me when they'll have it ready to deliver.Really starting to get my nerves.To make this clear, the only reason why this is a 2 star rating is that the furniture is of good quality.

The selection is enormous and there is something for all tastes for sure.In general, the quality of the furniture is impressive as well. However, it can sometimes be a bit pricey, depending on the department and compared to more specialized stores.The associates on the ground were knowledgeable and very courteous. One less agreeable fact is that you can sometimes feel hunted"

Having worked with Patrick from Germain lariviere was a breath of fresh air. His professionalism is incomparable! He was so helpful he provided me with all the options to make the best choice possible! I cannot recommend Patrick enough! If you need any appliance! Pat to the rescue!

Marlaine and I had a wonderful conversation about her son, he sounds like my son, and helped me pick some stuff out! The best customer service I've had in a while, will be coming again.

the after service is terrible. I've made a simple request for spare parts for an oven fan over 30 days ago. they opened a case, and no one has answered my calls or returned my emails since. quick to make the sale, but hopefully you do not have any questions afterwards. no customer relationship. you can go anywhere if you are shopping on price and selection. disappointed.

Be careful with Germain Lariviere return policy. I bought in May 2022 a new KitchenAid fridge which has been very noisy (industrial noise) since the minute it was plugged, also seals already broken (Defective unit).Now I am dealing manufacturer who doesn't want to be responsible for the warranty, Since they are not obliged to give copies of the technical visit reports of warranties they say that it is a normal noise. Unfortunately I don’t have how to prove what the technician told me and it’s my word against the manufacturer’s.My advice is: shop in places that have a return policy that suits you without buying extended warranty.
