Dentistry At Lansdowne Dr. Don Friedlander

Dr Don Friedlander and his team have been looking after my teeth since 1987. They are honest, perform quality work, friendly team, good with kids and adults. Highly recommend!

Honestly wish I could agree with the majority of the reviews posted. My experience was that they want you to believe, citing various reasons, that you require more dental cleaning than you actually do. First time I have ever been told that my teeth would need to be cleaned one quadrant at a time over multiple visits! Even the insurance company rejected the request to increase the number of allowed dental cleaning visits annually to this office. However, the last straw was when I had to wonder about the competence of the dentist, given his experience, to do major dental work. An error was made which he even admitted was most likely his doing and unfortunately, it resulted in a delay in months and multiple visits. One would hope that type of error is not often made with such a lengthy and expensive procedure! I would definitely not recommend this dental office given my personal experience.

I've never actually been a patient but the little correspondence I had with the staff is enough to say they don't seem to open to taking new clients. They don't respond to emails very well, if at all, they gave me a hard time regarding my health insurance coverage. I guess for the best.

Dr.Friedlander is one of the few honest persons I met. Would never recommend you a procedure that you dont need. All staff in the office are also amazing! The best part of it that children love to go there! They are bilingual as well!

Dr. Friedlander is a wonderful dentist and the staff who work in his office are lovely. Shelley always calls me to remind me of my appointments and Brenda does a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth every time. Dr. Friedlander has a very gentle touch - I had to have my mouth frozen to get my teeth shaved and filled (I'm a tooth grinder in my sleep) and I didn't even feel the needle. In the past I've had bad experiences with mouth needles, but his was completely painless. He is always so reassuring too.Their new office at Lansdowne is gorgeous as well.

I was put under a lot of pressure to pursue a very expensive cosmetic procedure, and I felt that I didn’t really have a choice. I chose not to proceed, and switched dentists to get another opinion, and it appears to be unnecessary.I wasn’t happy with how communication around this procedure was handled by this dentist.

Don has been our family dentist for many years. He and the team of hygienists and assistants are excellent.
