Maple Sushi Japanese Restaurant
We went here for dinner before a movie after not going here for years after a bad experience where our family got sick after eating here.We showed up 1 hour and 20 minutes before our movie and placed our order right away! Our order consisted of 4 basic rolls and tempura so it wasn’t massive. We ended up having to cancel our 7 year old daughter’s dinner order because at the 1 hour mark they had only brought out a portion of our order (3 of the 4 rolls no tempura). The restaurant was quiet when we walked in and got busier after our order was placed, several tables around us were complaining about missing items they’d ordered. Tables that showed up and ordered after us were getting items we had ordered.To top it off I had to leave mid way through our movie as I threw up, not saying it was the sushi that caused it but I’m also not saying it wasn’t. I felt fine the rest of the night.Gave 2 stars because the price was reasonable as far as Japanese food goes. The service is truly disorganized and horrible.

Great food at a great price. My father is obsessed with the teriyaki here and he always has to get double sauce . I love the chicken don with prawn tempura. They can be a bit heavy on the tempura though.

Still my favorite sushi restaurant in White Rock. Excellent value, delicious sushi and a large menu selection. Quaint and comfortable interior.Servers & chefs are super polite and courteous. This place is often overlooked as it's hidden next to the movie theater at 24th and King George. Highly recommend!Thank you!

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, and good quality food. Dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. Great for families with small children.

Honestly can't say enough about this place! The portions were good, the price was the best I've seen so far, and the fish is so fresh! Maybe because it was a little slow that night, but the chef came out to personally welcome us and recommend certain dishes after we sat down. Everything we ate was so good! The salmon in particular was fantastic. We ordered way too much food so we (luckily) had to bag the rest and the sushi still tasted good the next day! We ate here because we were in the area, but if we lived closer, I think we would be regulars! It's definitely worth a trip here though, and looking forward to coming again!

Extremely mediocre Japanese food.Service was lacking, and I should have seen that as a warning.Sunomono Salad was salty.Tempura was over battered and greasy, leading to cool/cold internal item.California Roll was pedestrian.Rice on the side was overcooked and lacked texture.Salad was fine.Best part of the meal was the single orange segment.

Food and staff are both always exceptional, never had a complaint personally. The staff are incredibly friendly and polite, and the food is terrific. Lots of variety as well if you don't specifically want sushi. Definitely worth trying if you haven't.

After a very disappointed stop at white spot Semiahmoo we decided to head over to Maple Sushi. It was exceptionally clean and hostess sat us immediately had hot tea with in 5 minutes of being seated. Dinner was perfect. A refreshing result .

It's an okay sushi place. Staff was very nice. We got our food very quick and the quality was good.
