Had a visit today and had a very enjoyable half rotisserie chicken. The portions are good and the mains come with an unlimited salad bar. The salad bar has the standard stuff, sauces etc. but was all tasty.Worked out about £15 a head for us which is reasonable for the portions and food.The staff were very helpful and friendly.The down side is that it's pretty run down and I don't think the carpet has been changed in years. Put the decor aside and you will enjoy your meal I'm sure.

I’ve rated a 6 thanks to the gentleman who greeted us when we entered and handed us to the woman who was then serving us. We waited a very long time to be asked what our dinner choice was and I also ordered a 2nd drink which I never received. The bar staff were stood yawning not doing much whenever I looked round so there was no reason to not receive that drink. We ended up not ordering desert which we had planned to eat, didn’t order any more drinks and left paying for the bill on the way out.Food was good but service was very poor.

I enjoy coming here but not to eat.I like sitting in the bar area as they have a couple of great tables that you can sit and watch the world go by.They also have a pool table and the bar area is Dog friendly,it even has a doggy menu for your furry friend,with bowls of water always at the ready staff are absolutely lovely and the service is excellent.Come and have a wee look in next time you're in the area.

Our server was Megan, she was absolutely fantastic! Nothing was too much to ask, her service was brilliant! Very very likeable and laid back. The food was absolutely delicious and so well priced. We went for the refill draft drinks and they were very fresh and offered some great syrup flavours that you don’t often get to choose. The salad bar was fully stocked and perfectly clean. The atmosphere was great and restaurant very clean and tidy. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Not a bad place, but unfortunately not the best portions (mixed grill) slow service and a little chaotic considering it wasn't busy. Staff were nice and friendly. Place looks tired and the draft from the front doors was not good. All in all not the worst place, but wouldn't go back again.

Sat for ages to get served they forgot about us. People that came in after had ordered before us. Got a coffee finally and 2nd coffee arrived 15 mins after we asked for a refill and we had finished eating. Worn out carpets aged decor toilets marked and dated. Poached eggs poor toast appeared before food not asked if we wanted anymore to go with our meal. Square sausage paper thin and greasy definitely from a bargain supplier. We all sat in one area. 2nd coffees arrived after we asked for the bill well they both arrived together! We won't be back with brewers fayre near by the will be closed soon and we certainly won't be back! Poor aged property with limited staff making for a poor experience

Very friendly staff and delicious food, which came out fast. We had a table of 7 and were there on the 2nd of July for a birthday dinner!I would like to highlight how patient the waiter assigned to our table was, he was so informative and helpful. Despite my family being really fussy and asking loads of questions, he was super friendly, patient and happy to help. I haven't seen anyone in the hospitality industry this patient and friendly before, so I'm really grateful for the lovely service. All of the staff were very friendly and the service was overall perfect. The food was delicious, and very filling! I can't stress how lovely the atmosphere and experience was, if it wasn't so far away, we would go there every weekend :)thank you!

The staff were fantastic. Katrina looked after us and took great care of our 3 year old.The food was quick and tasty. We saw the chef testing the salad bar which was great to see.The decor however is ready for a clean and re-paint as it's looking a bit tired but all easy to fix.

Would highly recommend the Harvester. Staff are so friendly, cheery and very helpful. We went here for a meal and were asked to go back later as we hadn't booked. We did go back and were glad we did. I got the meal deal, which is great value for money. The portions are large and we had free side salad, which you can help yourself to and have as much as you want. My husband got the steak, which he thoroughly enjoyed and we had dessert. Very clean and nice atmosphere. It is dog friendly and you can takeaway food. When we are next in Dunfermline we will go here again. Thanks to all the staff for your fantastic service.
