WOW this is truly a hidden gem. It's hidden away within the bar at the same location. We stopped by for a bite after a raptors game and glad we gave this place a chance. We tried the following tacos fish, chorizo, chicken and brirria. All very very good and would definitely recommend to others.

This place used to be great during the pandemic but has completely gone down the drain since then. Ordered dinner tonight and it arrived without any condiments (no salsa, no lime wedges). Every taco had one dominant flavour — salty.The crispy tacos smelled of old oil too.Sad to see a great place go downhill.

Today I got discriminate by a guy in the store. White Bearded guy made me very upset throughout the day. Just because I cross a Red ribbon. I search for the owner of this restaurant is Jahmal Erlington" definitely not him.Found a spanish dude works in the Receptionist he was nice. I will go there again just to meet the guy.There was no sign outside where "Tres Compadres" located

These birria tacos changed our lives. You may be wondering, how good are these tacos and should I buy from them? The answer is absolutely! We are from Australia and had taken a trip to Toronto where decided we were craving birria tacos late night. After a google search we found Tres Compadres. We didn’t know what to expect but we got our order from their very friendly staff and ate our tacos on the train. These tacos were the best we have ever tasted. They were fresh, JUICY juicy, and absolutely delicious. I personally don’t even like guacamole but it tasted amazing on these tacos. Even now, in Australia we often reminisce about these tacos and how yummy they were. We hope to come back soon and try their food again. Hopefully, by that time they will have upgraded to their own space because they deserve it.

I was never able to actually find this place, which was disappointing.When I'm in town visiting, time is of essence and selecting a new and exciting place, specially around mexican food is everything to me.If I choose a place, I build my entire schedule around it, thus spending 30 minutes, walking around the block trying to find a door, a sign or anything that may lead me to my destination is not a tall order.Believing you do not deserve 1 star is subjective. When it comes to my time, asking me to go out of my way to call, and order in is inconvenient.

I ordered from this place a few times. Previous times tacos were good but the portions are getting smaller... Yesterday I ordered crispy tacos and got soft tacos, which came in the small box and now have become even smaller. 3 tacos is not enough for a meal. I called the place and told them they gave me a wrong order. 3 stars is for bad customer service because the guy that picked up said nothing he could do here and next time they will add some thing nice to my order... there are better places at Kensington to order tacos...

Ordered four tacos on uber eats and got this. Thankfully got a refund but I’ve ordered a few more times since I didn’t mind the taste and thought it may be a fluke as there was a decent rating of 4.6. Yes portions are very small but also the toppings they put on are wildly inconsistent. Some tacos of the same type will have more or less of a topping, or none at all. Laughable

Not a store front location. Called and said they were inside some sketchy hole in the wall bar. Went down the stairs to see, no signage and horrendous marijuana smell. Turned around and did not venture any further. Too bad, reviews looked great, maybe best for Uber eats?

Phenomenal tacos! Made with so much attention to every detail and so much love, clearly. 1 star reviews from people who couldn't find the place are ridiculous.
