I randomly drove by this place who advertised they were “local” so I decided to stop by - and thank goodness I did! I bought a banana chocolate chip loaf, which I shared with my coworkers. We devoured the loaf like hungry wolves! It was perfectly sweetened and moist! Absolutely lovely!After I had paid for my purchase and about to walk out the door, their fresh sourdough caught my eye. The baker informed me they were fresh. *drool* And then showed me the different flavours of sourdough. I made the second purchase of the Apricot & Walnut Sourdough and I have no regrets! The bread is most delicious, soft and delicate! It tastes amazing toasted with a little butter or with peanut butter.I highly recommend this LOCAL bakery!! Not only are they friendly and welcoming, they also sell the most delicious baked goods!!!

I invite all my friends who enjoy eating bread to try the Sangak bread of this store. According to history, one of the healthiest breads in Persia is Sangak bread, which has been produced since 1651 until now. And the people of Calgary are recommended to definitely try this bread. One of the most difficult recipes is used to prepare this special bread. Good job Eclipse Bakery.

Great pastry store if you like sweets. They have a variety of sweet available from Napolean to puff pastry and others. They also sell fresh sangak bread. The owner is also nice and the prices are reasonable too. It's not a café to sit rather you pick up but you won't be disappointed.Parking is also available in front of the store.

I shop here for fresh baked bread and other goods often!The Sangak is tasting great and fluffy, the best I’ve tried in Canada, It especially tastes amazing after a minute in the toaster! Everything in the store is classy and nice decorations and set up well. Very friendly and polite staff.

This review only applies to their Sangak bread. Got frozen packs on last Thursday from their Calgary bakery. I liked the taste. But it doesn't quite taste like an Iranian traditional Sangak.(Maybe using half whole wheat flour is one of the reasons). In addition, it is too expensive. I live in Edmonton and I use to get Barbari bread at Edmonton Shaheen grocery. It is tastier(with whole wheat flour) and much larger and heavier(alomst 3 times bigger for $4.5). As per my friend who lives in Calgary, Edmonton Shaheen's Barbari is much better than their Calgary bakery's Barbari. If you come to Edmonton I suggest try it once and compare by yourself.I hope this review can help the owner to improve quality of their Sangak and lowering its price.
