True Blue Lodge

Sarah is a very kind host. We were planning to bring our three dogs but only ended up bringing one. Finding a place that will allow 3 dogs is not very easy. We stayed in unit #1 which is two bedrooms...they are a little small but of course when on vacation our intent is not to spend a lot of time sleeping. Be aware that pets are not to be left alone in the room. This can be a problem in some places when going out to eat BUT in Kaslo, pets were welcome pretty much everywhere. The Angry Hen Brewery was great for that (and you can bring in outside food there as well!).There was a perfect kitchen with everything needed for a good stay. Keurig coffee was a nice bonus. Although we did not use the outside BBQ, it is there for the guests. A nice area for eating outside is also available. Satellite TV and WIFI (connection was spotty at times but i think that is just the quality of internet in the area). Pricing was very good. Cleanliness was very good. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Kaslo. There are lots of great places to eat and drink in Kaslo so make sure you take a few days to experience the area. Flyfishing was also great. Mountain trails are great (do the Kaslo river trail and Buchanan Lookout!!).

Found this little gem on our getaway....what a darling cottage and they have thought of every little extra!! Such comfy pillows/beds and thick luscious towels.....we will definitely be back!

close to town, can walk to stores or beach, cleaned very well, stayed cool on hot days, nice yard with comfortable seating, polite and helpful owner

My friend and I have never been to Kaslo before so we decided to do a road trip and we stayed a couple of nights here at True Blue Lodge. Our room was clean and cozy. It is nice and quiet area as you do not hear the traffic like you do in the city. Sarah was really helpful with information about what to do in Kaslo and where to go eat. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to everything that you need. I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone who is deciding to come here and would 10/10 come back. Stayed here for 2 nights. Great little homey Lodge. Very nicely renovated, modern amenities and very well maintained. Definitely recommended. Owner has a massage studio. Will stay here again next year.

We were filming for True North Paranormal tv show and this place felt like home away from home. Totally recommend it !

Omg this place. So due to some unforeseen reasons I ended up bumping around the west k waiting for a home to be available to rent.This was the last of the cheap places I found. I was a bit worried as the others were... The others were... Ill say showed potential.. But this place. You could eat off the floors the beds was the cozyest ever. Full kitchen so I can not eat microwave food. Amazing showers. Multi zone climate control never charged extra for my doggieos. Has on site laundry (that works far better than any I have ever used.)Most streaming services set up on the in unit smart tv's. (no need to log in to your own)It's close to everything but still tucked out of the way.There is friendly ducks on the street if that tells you anything about the warmth of this area it says it all.I could go on and onJust book it there's no reason to look further. I'm in heaven in the middle of a cloudy time.Thank you to the very helpful oeer too!

Very cozy place, happy to have stayed here during the pandemic! Great rates and amenities onsite - laundry, Netflix, wifi, board games, and a fully stocked kitchen!
