Lewis at East City Guitar Co. is great! I take all of my guitars to him to get serviced/repaired and i'm always 100% satisfied with the result.I've been fortunate to play a few of his builds as well, and can guarantee that the care and precision that goes into these guitars is impressive to say the least. They play and sound amazing!10/10 would recommend East City Guitar Co. for any guitar service/repair/build needs.

Lewis hosted a workshop where I learned to setup my guitar (and MUCH more along the way).He was an excellent teacher, patient with a scatterbrain like me, and moreover, I retained everything.I was overwhelmed on the day, so much information by the end of it I couldn't even figure out how to use a tuner anymore (a reflection of my state of mind, not his teaching) BUT I was able to retain it. Heading over to setup another guitar at home a week later and it was a grand success, and I felt confident every step of the way. From Adjusting my truss rod (and identifying if and when it needs to be adjusted) to dialing in my Trem system to how I like it, to cleaning my electronics and intonating, I had it all down.I will definitely have him do any modification or repair work I need in the future as I know he has the knowledge and skill. I will also take any other work shops he offers!A+ experience.

Lewis has been fantastic to deal with. Explains everything well. Honest and trustworthy without a doubt. I wont be taking any of my guitars anywhere else.

He takes the time to talk with you and come up With a plan of attack for repairs, and keeps in touch with you along the way. Very happy with how my repair turned out! Thank you easy city guitar!

I had a great experience with East City Guitar Co. I recently brought in a guitar for some service and repairs. Lewis was able to identify what was wrong and described everything that needed to be done. The price was good and I was very happy with the final product!
