The Take Out Fish & Chips London

Our daughter (12) hates fish and chips, we made her try it and she actually liked it!Fries are thick cut and salty, yum.Fish (cod) was done perfectly. We had the family deal and it was plenty for a family of 4, we have some leftover. We have been a few times and are never disappointed. Deep fried fish and chips, can't beat it

The fries were so burnt that more than half were completely black. The fish was soggy on the inside, and chewy on one end. All the fish and fries were in the same sorry state. Im not sure what’s going on here, looks like they’re totally taking their customers for granted. This was our first time at this place, certainly not going back.

We've ordered the haddock and chips twice and were very happy with both. Some of the best fried fish I've ever had! The fish portion is regular size but the amount of fries is HUGE! I would recommend one meal for two people and you can order a couple extra pieces of fish if desired. 10/10

The food is great and the service is friendly and professional. The cost is a bit high but the food is so good I do go there when I can afford it.

Great food! Nice thick fresh fries. The only complaint I have is the same as most people. More fries than needed. Would love a bigger piece of fish instead of all the fries. 4 stars! Yum!

First time trying this fish and chip place here in London. I ordered two pieces of Haddock fish with an order chips to go with it. The two fish were average maybe bigger size that they tasted good. the fries were great they're kind of like the old fashioned homemade fries. But I got so many fries I can only eat a third of them and I still have quite a bit left over as you see in the containers. I think I got one of those like super large bags of fries you get from Costco that you can feed 10 people with.Overall everything was good.

I paid $20 for a 2 piece cod meal and the fish was burnt really badly.The lady working was talking about how she saves money on coca cola by getting it at a discount somewhere while i paid $20 for burnt fish. Fries were great tbhThe $20 didn't include a drink

You definitely want to get take out here. I’ve been looking for a go to fish and chips and place in London for quite some time, and now my search is over! Firstly, as the name suggests, it’s take out only, out of this tiny building located at a very busy street corner.They wrap the fish and chips in brown paper sheets, which to me is usually a good indication of a place that knows what they’re doing. It’s like a bouquet of fish and chips. Makes for a lovely gift to oneself.Get ready for a shock when you open the paper, cause they give you an unbelievable amount of fries (not exaggerating)! I’m gonna have leftover fries for days, and they are really good (similar style to NY Fries, but thicker). Not too starchy nor very oily. I had the 2 piece cod and it was fresh, meaty, and lightly battered. My order came with coleslaw, which was regular but good. I also appreciated that they properly provide you with ample packs of tartar sauce and a small container of malt vinegar.

I gotta say I really like this tiny house that serves big portions of fish and chips. I ordered the 2 piece halibut. They gave me an extra piece because he felt my pieces were on the small side. How nice! And it was tasty. The fries had a hearty texture which I enjoyed but couldn't come close to finishing.Parking is easy peasy. Staff are friendly. Service is quick. And I think they way they wrap the fish and chips is cool and respectful of tradition. Thumbs way up. Keep up the good job!

Way, way, way too many fries!!! (and they aren't even that good). Many other people have commented on this, but you still keep doing it. I threw 75% of my fries out. Cut down on the fries and reduce your prices. I won't be ordering from here again.
