I had the opportunity to work with Roll Focus through my work at Greater Victoria Police Victim Services. The aim of the video was to provide a platform to capture the services that we provide as well as to highlight an impactful story of one of our clients to demonstrate personal resilience and empowerment. Amanda and her team were very easy to work with, professional and made our team feel at ease during the shooting process. Mike, Amanda and the whole team at Roll.Focus are excellent to work with. They found creative solutions to shoot the TD Victoria International JazzFest on budget, and their talent shows in high quality final products the past two years. I recently had the pleasure of working with Roll Focus on an “added value” piece to be paired with our Grateful Dead Annual Meet Up At The Movies nationwide theatrical release. We had very limited time for this project and I was skeptical that I would be able to find a company to create the necessary finished product in a way that met our high standards within the amount of time available. We recently worked with Roll Focus to create a promotional video for the Coalition of Neighbourhood Houses - a group of 10 agencies doing social service work in Victoria. It can be quite a challenge to work with so many organizations at once, and to try to tell our story in a way that is clear, concise, and engaging. The team at Roll Focus Productions recently helped us to create a short 'How it works' video for our service company. The experience was outstanding! From the initial overview and planning of the video content and script to the actual shoot that took place over a couple days, the process felt structured and fun.Mike, Amanda and Aidan all have a unique way of making you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, which we found especially nice given our lack of experience in this area! Aside from the planning and production, the end product was equally fantastic! They were very accommodating to our suggestions and changes during editing, and made sure that the result aligned with what we were looking for! Mike and Roll Focus have worked with us at the Victoria Royals Hockey Club on several projects, including our regular season and playoff intro videos. They combined creative vision and technical expertise to deliver a product that spoke very well to our fan base.
