Dominion Park | City of Saint John, New Brunswick | Located on Saint John’s west side, Dominion Park is a popular year-round recreation destination. In summer, the stretch of beach provides ideal access to the beautiful Saint John River for swimmers and boaters. The park features a playground, basketball nets, picnic and barbecue areas, and washroom and changing room facilities. Park users can also enjoy hiking trails, rock climbing, kayaking and a treetop aerial adventure park. An updated Master Plan for this Park is underway. It is also a popular spot for ice fishing during the winter months.

Shouldn't be allowed smoking anywhere near the beach, cigarette butts everywhere in the grass.. which is disgusting.. But, the beach was good, everyone was spaced very well, following the 6ft rule. 2 life guards on duty.

They have washrooms on sight. Playground for kids, BBQ pits, beautiful beach, hiking trails, little bit of old history as well. :) great place for just you, or a family♡

This Beach is a gem, large free parking lot. Some grilling BBQ stations off to the side. Concession with changing and wash rooms. Buoyed swimming area with a lifeguard. Some grass areas and a small playground as well. Route needs better signage and promotion, as well as proper sidewalks.

The kids love coming there! I only wish the beach was flat not slightly sloped as it kills my back. Beautiful spot though and have been going since I was a little girl. Love that I now take my grandkids
