BAO's

Probably the worst take out I have ever eaten. The Kung pao chicken was watery and flavorless, except for some spicy peppers. Not at all what it is supposed to taste like. The Baos, which this place is named after... oh my. Where to start... The doh was dry and thick, and inside was horrible, the chicken didn't taste like chicken, the pork bao was this nasty looking mess, so bad. I have had a lot of bao, and never have I taken a bite and not want to finish it.For the price that you pay, you would think the stir fry was at least fresh (how long really does it take to stir fry??? Let me tell you, not long) the food was sitting there and when I looked in the back, it seemed like the employes were bored. I will never eat at this place again... this meal ruined what was otherwise a great day.

We ordered the new Thursday night delivery special in Whistler! Everything was so delicious – the honey garlic ribs, the pork belly, the beef and broccoli the potstickers…all of it! All the ingredients were fresh and great quality. I would very highly recommend, a very yummy way to spend a Thursday night!!

I went for the Wonton soup and loved it. It wasn't just the simple classic wonton soup with just broth and the wrapped meat. It had veggies and I had the option to had pork belly or shrimp. Lots of noodles which made it a full meal for me, for only $12.50. Most noodle places would charge $16 for something similar. Must go and try out!

Food was ok. I had a combo, some type of meat splashed with sweet n sour sauce (perhaps pork), another dish that was supposed to be geneal tso's spicy chicken (was not spicy at all and it was a tad bit watery), and vegetable chowmein (noodles were ok, veg were over cooked). All in all, you get what you pay for, good in a pinch.

Chef’s specials are my favorite, black bean prawns or the BBQ pork. On these cold spring days the hot and sour soup is a must. JI’s favorite is the beef and broccoli on chicken fried rice.

I walked into Bao’s for the first time yesterday and immediately I was struck by how clean it was. Open concept with we’ll lit displays and local art on the wall, it was extremely welcoming. The staff were super kind and very helpful explaining the menu and describing what was available. Customer service is key for me and this crew absolutely nailed it from the get go. Now, let’s talk about the food! I N C R E D I B L E! I ordered a bunch of dishes for a potluck dinner and everyone said it was the highlight of the meal. Dumplings, short ribs, spring rolls, beef, chicken, it was all so good! I highly recommend Bao’s Pemberton! Well done and thanks!

Best beef and broccoli I’ve had in a long time. Good portion and the service was fantastic. Very helpful and kind.

Recently ordered a large amount of food for a dinner party. Pork ribs, beef and broccoli, and black bean chicken were standouts. Delicious noodle dishes as well. Food very tasty, fresh and not overly heavy or salty. Highly recommended!

Cod and Prawn Blackbean Chow Mein is absolutely awesome, can’t really go wrong with anything here and the guys are always super friendly every time I’m in.
