Had the bacon avocado burger. It was very good. Lots of avocado, nice bacon, and the patty was cooked really nicely. It had a bit of crisp on it like it was cooked on a cast iron pan.The fries were nice and salty, but not too salty. The lady working the front desk was so nice.I will eat here again.

This place is very nice! Delicious food comes with the best service, I was served by Kate and her gorgeous smile and she was very professional! However I heard a conversation by manager John" was giving instructions to one of the servers

Not the size that was explained, but, does size really matter? That's a family size salad and a fry. Shame on me.

I came to Denny’s at Flying J for lunch and ordered the Bourbon Burger…….. all I can say is WOW! Easily the best burger I’ve ever had! Literally dripping with flavour! Phenomenal flavour at that! The chef needs a raise! Way to go Denny’s! I’m definitely coming back!

Not sure how to best write this review as the experience still has us both blown away. So, it’s been a long day travelling on the road and both my husband and I are beyond exhausted and looking for some place close by to eat, but mostly seeking out that famed comfort food we Canadians seem to be drawn towards. Our hotel has a Denny’s right next door, so we decide to give it a try. Not expecting too much, we enter into a virtually empty restaurant and wonder, oh oh, hope we made the right choice.Fast forward to one of those little life changing moments that you will always remember. We are warmly greeted by a lovely woman named Lesya who turned out to be, to our good fortune, also our server. Despite the empty restaurant, we already knew we were in the right place, and we were right. Both our meals were exceptional with my husband commenting it was the best burger he has ever had.The best part of the story doesn’t stop at the wonderful meal, it’s more of one that tugs on your heart strings. An elderly couple, both struggling with mobility issues, came into the restaurant. It was immediately clear that this lovely couple were regulars of the restaurant and were clearly there to eat mostly because Lesya was working. In fact, they had actually called ahead to make sure she was working. When she knew they were there, it was like watching a loving and attentive grandchild taking care of her loved ones. She clearly had a warm connection with them which was clearly mutual. It was so lovely to see. Turns out we were not the only ones touched by this lovely young woman’s compassion. Who would have thought that a review of this Denny’s restaurant would be one were you could honestly say that the great food was just the bonus, the true experience was the reminder that human kindness can go a long way in making someone’s day truly comforting and memorable.

The prices are too high because portions (Fries putin) are too small. No children's potion was ordered. We waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our order, but they only accepted our drinks. 10-15 minutes later another person came to take our menu. Then when paying we wanted to pay in front. But no one was at the checkout so we had to wait again (about 10 minutes). And suddenly two employees came in from outside. Lol if you want a smoking break then you can go out individually so that the other person is near the checkout. So service is absolutely awful. If I were a semi truck driver I wouldn't waste my little free time at this restaurant (Headingley).

I had THE BEST hamburger of my entire life at this place. It came with bacon avocado, lettuce, tomato and condiments (I left off the cheese). When it came to the table I was shocked it was so tall. I didn't know I would be able to eat it. I figured I would never be able to finish it - boy was I wrong. I ate and enjoyed every single bite and before I knew it it was done.I HIGHLY recommend it. You will be thanking me for letting you know about it, guaranteed!

Love Dennys, went to many locations, starting from Ontario to Vancouver. Had a couple sad looking dishes but always tasty, and service always tried to fix the issue, but not here.- Food was taking so long. Never waited that long before and place wasn't busy.- Attitude of our waitress and manager Jack, not the best at all.- We ordered two Cobb salads, one of my fav dishes in Dennys. One dish was good with good portions of chicken and the other dish was with 2 little pieces of prime rib. We talked to Jack that it's not nice to charge 6 or 7$ for small pieces, it's just wrong, the picture doesn't follow the expectation, in which his respond was We can't always make the dish to look the same as on the picture". It's not about making to look the same it's simply putting the right amount of meet you charge for.- Waitress tried to say that there was "quiet a lot of pieces"
