I joined the dojo last fall and have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Sensei Jay and the rest of the class. Everyone was very welcoming and patient with me when I joined.I’d recommend the club to anyone!

I have been taking Aikido with Sensei Jay for a number of years. Sensei has always tried to impress about using the energy of the ukes to succeed in doing our katas for each belt. The importance of focusing and breathing techniques to help us advance in our techniques. After experiencing and talking to others who take martial arts, Sensei Jay seems to emphasize the need to relax and be controlled in you movements much more then others. I am over sixty I started Aikido five years ago, never having done martial arts, other then a trial lesson in Karate. I like it as it is more offensive then defensive.

Sensei Jay is an amazing, patient and knowledgeable Aikido teacher. Taking Aikido with Sensei Jay I have found a safe place to explore a rewarding martial art that can be used in all aspects of my life.
