This is a horribly disorganized place that regularly doesn't seem to care about the quality of anything they sell, most of the produce is rotting or rotten and because the owner doesn't seem to care the labeling on things is questionable at best.I noticed some cucumbers that mentioned they were grown in Canada only to pick it up and notice a sticker that said grown in Mexico on it, this type of lack of attention to detail is evident across the store.The sales associates either barely speak English or plain don't so good luck with any help.While the prices are incredibly cheap you need to constantly check your receipt as you'll be often overcharged as well, again the quality of items is hit or miss too.

Always feel so good after leaving Persia Foods because of the great pricing, and friendly staff!This is the place to get produce and nuts! They have an awesome selection, and it's always fresh! They also have some great European chocolate, Persian sour cherry products, and Polish pickles. Can't beat the prices anywhere else - my number 1 stop for groceries!

Persia Foods is a Persian market with multiple locations throughout Greater Vancouver. They are a great place to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, and of course...as the name implies, everything you need to make all of your Persian favourites in the comfort of your own home!I dropped by the Burnaby location one day when they had a sale on green grapes for $1.99/lb. Some of the green grapes were of the Cotton Candy variety so I bought a bag to bring home. Now I'm kicking myself for not having bought 2 or 3 bags of them as the Cotton Candy grapes were soooo good and we went through most of the bag very quickly. I put a few in the freezer and they are now a precious commodity in our house!Love their selection of Persian breads. They've got humungous slabs of bread for sale. There's also a wide variety of Persian spices, condiments and other staple ingredients for cooking Persian foods at home. Unfortunately for me this place is a hard NO. I unpacked my groceries and realized the cucumbers were moldy and the boxed dates were one month past the expiration date. Gross.

A nice selection of fruits and veggies. A good selection of Middle Eastern food with an emphasis on Persian goods as well.Friendly individual service.The building is quite old and could do with some renos and upgrades.

It is a good Persian store to find many Persian products. But the aisles are so tight and the stores are most of the time dirty and messy. it is raising products price significantly.

Great place to get well priced fresh fruits and veggies, just have to be a bit careful when picking the items as sometimes there are pieces that are going bad or very soon about to be. I very infrequently shopped other food types here, however I do agree with many others that the shelves are very tight and hard to go through. Have not had any problems with the cashiers.

This place js my on go every time. They have very fresh fruits and vegetables with reasonable price. You can find almost everything at one go. And the service is really good like you do not have to wait long for billing. Which I like the most. Try for quick and budgeted fresh veggies and fruits.
