Jonas Truck and Auto Driving School

I would not recommend this driving school after sending 2 technicians for class 3 licenses. The issues we have experienced goes as follows:One driver had the instructor actually fall asleep during a lesson.They also tried rescheduling multiple lessons, i had to personally call them to book remaining lessons which wasn't easy and lacked professionalism.The condition of their trucks is absolutely inadequate and unsafe. They assured our technician they had a good quality truck for the test so not to worry. When the test day came in the pre trip inspection our driver found many issues..... the truck had a coolant leak, the volt meter was inoperable, an oil leak on the valve cover, exterior lights were falling apart. Jonas driving school still took him out in this truck on his test, the truck died in an intersection then you disqualified him. This wasted our technician and company time. We then had to spend time on the phone with Jonas driving school as they didn't initially think they owed a refund......The windshield wipers don't properly work, when i mentioned this to someone at Jonas they said well your driver didn't tell me so how could i fix it?" Im sorry but your instructor should have noted the defective items on your truck

Just finished the MELT program. I passed first time thanks to Carl, Gary, Andre, and Joseph. They were all great! I appreciate their efforts making sure I pass. I didn’t have Karen as an instructor, but she was very helpful with questions I had and she even helped me clean the truck out.Mike and Jonas are great too! Mike helped me get my hours quickly and Jones supplies coffee and doughnuts while we were in class.All in all, I had a great experience and I recommend everyone in and around Calgary to go to this driving school. You won’t regret it!

The in class is taught by one of the best instructor in industry. He helped me understood so many things I did not know about truck driving. They are very professional and make you feel like your a part of their team.

I had a great time with Jonas driving. The course and training was comprehensive, highly recommend.

I had gone to AMA to learn how to drive first and they had taught me extremely poorly so I decided to go to this school after. I had Letty as my driving instructor and she was amazing. She took me all over Calgary and I learned a lot more than I did at AMA. I feel very confident as a driver after going to this school than going to AMA.

A huge thank you to Jonas and all his amazing instructors. I just passed my class 1 and I couldn't have done it without Carl and Karen. This is an amazing school. Great, knowledgeable, enthusiastic to teach instructors and an all around good vibe from everyone.

This driving school really tries to get you your class 1 done!I had Karen for my In-Class lessons and Andre as my Driving Instructor and Backing up-lessons and I couldn’t be even more satisfied with them. Especially, Andre is so calm down while where driving and makes you feel comfortable even when your nervous and sometimes not knowing what your doing. I just passed my Class1 today and I’m glad that I chose this Driving school to go with! The Owner and Mike “the office-girl” How I lovely call him, are trying to do everything to get you the hours which fits in your work/life schedule.5 stars!!!Thanks for that great experience!

Thank you Warren for helping me with my parkings. I was having issues with parallel parking, he taught me his tricks and I passed my road test today. Thanks to Michael & Letty for being patient with me… Tawa

Jonas driving school has some of the best instructors in the city especially Andre he kept my confidence in doing manual transmission, the office staff is very supportive and help you find success and urge you to keep going even when it feels tough. I would give more than 5* if I could.
