Cogeco

I had no internet this morning. The first Tech maid things much worse by changing my network and password and blaming the equipment, instead of trying to solve the actual issue. The second Tech didn't listen to me either and had me reboot the modem that the phone is connected through and the phone disconnected. The third Tech helped me resolve the issue, but then I had to go back again to reinstall the old network, that was fine, and change the passwords on all the devices again. This took over four hours to resolve a simple issue.

Tammy was very helpful at the store at the Pen centre. They were quick, friendly and efficient. Also, Cogeco 1 gig internet package is amazing. Goodbye bell.

The store was very helpful..Waited for cogeco to come and setup cable and Wi-Fi..on a Friday between 5 and 8 pm...No one knocked at the door, but the installer left a door knocker, which was BS I have a big Alaska Malamute and he would of barked if he had actually knocked...I get it Friday afternoon, figured going for a beer was more important thank working at 5pm on a Friday.

The storm Monday June 30 knocked out my TiVo box and I was told it cannot be repaired or replaced. I am a senior with a disability so doing the self installation is not an option so I opted for a technician to install, I was told July 8 ! I feel that I am being punished because I actually asked for “service “!! Who waits for 2 weeks for a 1/2 hour service call?? This is the worst service I have ever encountered, I do not and will not do Cogecos work for them. I pay for service and should get it in a timely manner,

Since we started which was 3 weeks ago, we have had nothing but trouble. The wifi for the past 3 weeks has not been connecting properly and it disconnets for 2-3 hours no matter what we do. I wish I could give this service 0 stars, I do not recommend it to anyone at all

The actual internet connection is decent, although despite paying for 1 gig connection and I get faster speeds on my 5G.What is a real kick in the groin, however is the 14% increase in the fee over the last 12 months. Inflation is a consideration, but it's not 14%. And I doubt the call center staff nor the techs were blessed with a 14% wage increase. No doubt the C-suite and a few others are reaping the reward of double digit increases in fees, but I can no longer afford to subsidize the life styles of the senior management and owners of Cogeco.Tried to give Cogeco another crack to see if it is worth being their customer. Clearly it's not and it is time to move on.TL:DR - You can get the same service for cheaper, I see no reason to choose Cogeco.

Recently came back to Cogeco because Bell doesn’t offer good speed in my area.Their installation team ruined the picture on my television- and it’s now been a week and a half with no result.My family room television is useless - and no real solution has been offered. We have gone through the same troubleshooting 8-10 times and no one cares.

We are a long time customer of Cogeco. Went into the store and Tammy helped us. She was amazing at helping us upgrade our internet service. She took the time and explained the different packages we could get. I didn’t feel rushed and her kindness and knowledge of the product is very evident. Thanks again Tammy!
