Greely Sand & Gravel

THE DRIVER TORE UP MY DRIVEWAY TODAY!!!!!!We have used them several times with excellent service this year. This time it was horrible!!!They said they call when they are loading and on their way. The driver called to say on their way at 1:44 pm and then called again at 2:04 to say they are in the driveway. The normal time for them to arrive is about 30-33 minutes.Four deliveries this year and always the same.I haven't done grade one math in a long time but that is far from 30 minutes from the yard to our home.From the track marks it looks like the driver drove in adjusted his tires on the driveway and drove out and came back again. Then he drove over the side and did the same thing!!!!Called the office to let them know and the attitude was oh well! Not our problem.Horrible service!!UPDATE:The truck was seen by a person at the home and a neighbor coming onto the property and then going off and stopping at the end of the driveway.The truck had not yet been given permission to DUMP OR COME ONTO THE PROPERTY. The driver came onto the property did a dry turn on the driveway. BEFORE speaking to anyone.When the gentlemen saw the damage BEFORE giving permission to DUMP. He asked whats this and the driver replied. OH its soft.Dispatch should have said if its too hot out to dump a load.The driver NEVER mentioned before coming onto the driveway there maybe damage due to the heat. The driver already caused the damage before unloading.THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THE DRIVER TO DRIVE THAT FAR ONTO TH DRIVEWAY .. the area that was needed to dump was close to the entrance he proceeded into the circle area of the driveway which he had no business going that far!!!The office was called immediately when this happened and was told to it happens. Spoke to a manager who said there is nothing he can do.This company takes payment before the dump and there is no recourse when they cause property damage. So they basically hold you hostage. They are paid and they don't care. The reply you see below is from the owner of the company.When dispatch is told to let you know when he will be there and you say you will meet them there it does not give them permission to come onto the property.Update: July 16.2020have made two attempts to call and speak to a person about this and the first thing that comes out of the persons mouth is that we don't have any responsibility from the curb.i tried to explain what happened and how the driver drove 30 feet onto the property more than he needed to and did a dry turn to back up and was basically told that it happensThank you for the opportunity to discuss this further but it was a total waste of my time. You have all the contact info to call and discuss. Also you know the address and haven't even come out to see the damage to understand what happened.

Our third time ordering soil from these folks and the product and service were top-notch yet again. We're loving the standard forklift delivery so the soil bags can be placed where they're not in the way. And the driver saved me a ton of shovelling by hoisting one of the bags and cutting it so it dropped into our newly built planter. High-five, Greely!

Great place to order earth and mushroom compost. We started an Organic Garden this year and we bought two dump trucks worth of it. The Driver was Polite and very accommodating. He dumped the loads right on top of our tarps we had laid out on the lawn. we're still chipping at it, as these were pretty huge. 22 cubic yards each dump truck. Thank you Greely Sand and Gravel. :)

I ordered 10 cubic yards of top soil and ended up with a 12 foot trench 2.5 feet deep on my brand new front lawn. My entire experience with Greely Sand and Gravel has been terrible. First of all, I received a call the day before the delivery from a company rep. saying that I was going to be charged an additional fee because I lived outside the boundaries"- which was not correct (we live 15 minutes away...). This representative then said she would discuss with her manager and call me back. When she called back

Warning!!! on all in pricing" after you pay. I placed an order on their online portal which said it included delivery and taxes. I received an invoice

Couldn't have been a better experience. Called and got my questions answered. Ordered online, quickly and easily. Delivery was set for two days later. Came first thing (even earlier than I thought). Called me a few times but my phone was not on yet. Waited for me in case I wanted to move my cars. Ended up ringing doorbell. I came out and the woman driving the truck was still incredibly nice despite me making her wait. Dumped it perfectly, and thanked me as she drove off! Will only buy from Greely!

I recently ordered a large load of river rock. Great customer service and the rock was perfect. Hats off to the driver who was super friendly and made sure to get the delivery where I needed it.

Good options, easy to order and book a delivery. Gentleman who delived was great. The gravel was... gravel!

Excellent website and service. Delivery of 4 dump truck loads placed exactly where requested which was extremely important as a simple homeowner it will save me time (and driveway is free)!!
