Alirang Restaurant

I can't speak to the authenticity of the food since I'm neither Korean nor someone who is familiar with Korean food. But every meal I've had at Alirang has been delicious, flavorful, and satisfying! You get side dishes like kimchi and bean sprouts in sesame oil along with your entree so it's always very filling. Definitely will come back again.

Great Korean food. Everything tasted great. Fresh kimchi. I had the bulgogi bibimbop for lunch. The rest of the menu includes traditional Korean dishes. Restaurant was tidy and clean. Prices were quite reasonable.

Well priced with friendly staff, really is the icing on the cake given the food was so good!

One of my favourite places to go to for pork bone soup! So flavorful and delicious. Also the owner is wonderful! He's very nice and takes the time remember his patrons. He goes out his way to make sure you're satisfied with your meal! I highly recommend this place, it's pork bone soup and kimchi pancakes. You won't be disappointed!

A good place to have korean foods. Generally the food quality is above average. I love the seafood pancake - it's the best one,I've had in a korean restaurant. My boyfriend loves the bone soup. The price is quite fair given the portion of food.

My husband and I used to come here very very often, my husband even brought many of his baseball team members after their game.One day we ordered our usual: their famous pork bone soup.For some reason it tasted really off that day, so we got the lady's attention who served us many times before, we explained how it really tasted off.Her reaction was shocking. She told us multiple times our tastebuds must be weird because there was nothing wrong with the soup.She kept coming back to our table and kept making sure it was our tastebuds because it was freshly made.Whatever the reason must have been, the right thing to do is to take it back and either make new one or give a refund. Nope! None of that happened.Ever since then, we never ever went back and they lost their customers.. over a bowl of soup.

I had a great experience here. The food tasted great and the waitress was really attentive. They were also very reasonably priced and had flavored Soju (something they don't even sell at the LCBO). I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for Korean cuisine in the greater Hamilton area.

The server was very friendly, the food was served moderately quickly, and this was some of the best bimbimbap I’ve ever had in my life! The bulgogi bimbimbap was the crowd favourite but the kimchi bimbimbap took us by surprise with how much we liked it. While the decor and furniture could be improved, it does not take away from the overall satisfaction of having visited, and we return often!

The beef bulgogi tasted too salty and oily (and the oil tasted stale and reused). Could not finish the meal. The quality seems to have degraded since the last time we were here. Shame because I used to love this place.

I went here last summer and had the NaengMyun 물냉면, and it was the worst one I have ever had. Broth was bland, wasn't icy or cold and was a major let down. First time I ever didn't finish the Korean food I have ordered at a restaurant. They could have other delicious dishes, but what I had definitely was not good. Parking is a struggle too...The owners and staff are very kind and inviting. It also was really busy when I went so I'm sure they have better stuff, which is why I'm giving them a 3 instead of lower.
