Working with Lowermainland Dog Walker was a great experience! Marissa is very professional and keeps all of the walks and employees organized. I felt like I was properly trained for the job and that made the job even better. She was super helpful if i had any questions and i made friends with coworkers as well even though we don't get to see each other much. I am so impressed with the level of care and fun my two labs get from these ladies.My girls have so much fun with Brie and Jessica!I love that I get photos of the fun, a map of where they’ve been and an email to let me know how they did…and what they did potty wise!They are always ready for a nap once they’re home.I heartily recommend this service.5 stars definitely!

As an employee of Marissa and Lower Mainland Dog walker, I take exception to the comment from someone complaining on our behalf with regards to what we are paid and how we are treated by Marissa. You can't take one piece of knowledge you think you have and leave a comment like that. I am offended. I have worked for Marissa for over a year basically 5 days a week as my choice. As a mature aged adult, I have worked for many employers over my lifetime and cannot remember ONE that was as considerate and thoughtful as Marissa. She made it clear during the interview process that steady work couldn't always be guaranteed and also made it clear it was not meant to be a living wage job. We have the opportunity to receive tips from our clients should they decide to do. Marissa also makes sure to organize lunches, parties and outings to show how much she appreciates us, remembering our birthdays and being supportive through tough situations. She is also considerate and appreciative and flexible for the clients and their needs. She allows for a very flexible work schedule that fits in with students and some of us just looking for part-time employment. The opportunity I have to work with all the different wonderful doggies (with the occasional cat included) as well as their owners, is so amazing as well as contributing to a healthy lifestyle for the dogs and me, and giving the owners peace of mind knowing their dogs are cared for by supported and professionally trained employees. We are so grateful for the help that the dog walker team (Marissa, Debbie, Kandie and Nicole) has given us over the month that we were preparing for our baby's birth. They go above and beyond in the work they do!! Our dog got to walk around the neighborhood, as well check out the nearby creek and venture out to the off-leash parks meeting up old and new friends! He always came home with the happiest face!! We love receiving loving notes about our dog by mail, eg. favorite things that they want us to know about our dog. They are so thoughtful that they leave us a gift and card for our baby girl that we truly appreciate. The communication has always been easy and quick on the portal, which makes everything clear and smooth.

Marissa is very professional and has a great team of employees.Jake and Brie were so good with our dog Nahla. The updates we received after each walk were very much appreciated.
