Absolutely gorgeous, spent the night camping here and it's sooo serene. So much moss hanging from the trees, water is a good temp and sunset is breath taking

Make sure you come at or around low tide so that you can cross on the sand bar and stay dry. But if you're not afraid of getting wet you can come and have the beach to yourself.

Hidden gem! Beat kept secret on Peggys Cove loop. Accessible beat at low tide along the footpath covered slightly by water. High tide crossing will be waist deep. Wide sandy beach on sheltered side of island with 1000s of salt water animals to keep kid amused at low tide. Great foot path takes you around entire island on short 40 minute hike. Parking is limited and don’t block any driveways or you could be towed. Highly recommended.

A lovely spot for the day, the beach is so nice! Make sure you come when the tides low - it can be hard to Wade through the water

I grew up here, learn to swim here, my Dad was the caretaker for the family in the late 60's and 70's before we moved away! So we had the cottage and island to ourselves during summer break.

Great nature spot to check out, but caution required. Easy to walk/wade to at low tide, but be prepared to swim back to mainland at high tide.
