Such a wonderful shop! The owner was very sweet and took the time to teach us about the different gears, tools for fishing, and provided recommendations. Smith & Son’s is going to be our go to fishing store for when we come up to the cottage!

Amazing little shop! Great selection of tackle and bait. 3 different sizes of minnows and an assortment of live bait. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Was told about this shop by some locals on a recent trip. They were invaluable the entire time we were in Bobcaygeon.Yes, it's small. But don't let that deter you. They have everything you could imagine and piles of knowledge to go with it.Thanks for everything guys. I hope to see you next year.

Been coming here since I was a kid with my father for over 2 decades. Pricing is competitive and even better then the larger fishing outlets. Very knowledgeable staff that understands Kawartha lake fishing and always willing to give friendly advice. Had trouble with my setup for years then got a knew PB for both walleye and musky after getting gear specific to Pigeon Lake and the late fall season.Plan to continue coming here for the next 2 decades.

Fantastic customer service good quality tackle and bait as well as top of the line rods and reals. I was having boat motor issues and the gentleman in the store helped fix the issue so I could keep fishing. Thanks guys I owe you one!
