Went here on a Sunday afternoon. Not too busy but we only saw 3 people working very hard including the cook, so it took a while for our meals to arrive (hence the 4* rating - not the employee's fault). It was worth the wait. My beloved had the California Quinoa salad - delicious. I had one of the best Cobb salads that I've ever eaten. Had their wings a few weeks back and they are much improved from back before CV. Will definitely return.

The server, and I mean the only ONE person working there on my visit, was AMAZING!! She was serving a dining room that looked 95% full!!! She was run off her feet!! Drinks were very slow to come to the table, my drinks took forever to be refilled, appetizers came, and it took 20 minutes or so to get my main meal and so on... the management of the location did NOT correctly provide the right numbers of staff to services the number of people in that dining room. The food was great, and the staff were amazing, trying to keep up with the demands, but I feel the management falls very short when it comes to correctly staffing for the volume of guests they had. I am disappointed and don't see myself returning. The management MUST add more service staff to get the basics down of bringing food to the table and KEEPING drinks full since this is a bar?!?! Again, I do stress... The service staff was amazing considering the circumstances, but the management needs to step up and provide more labor for the dining room to be able to run effectively.

Food and service are very good, with generous portions - prices are very competitive. I had the French onion soup and club salad - had to take half the salad home for later - and both were excellent. My nephew had the deep fried pickles and a burger and he enjoyed both and was too full to finish the pickles. Good handicapped parking by front door but the handicapped toilet was out of order. That and that the place is quite noisy, making it hard to hear conversation, were the only drawbacks.

This is a hidden gem on the edge of town. A true locals place. Food is consistently good. What makes this place stand above the rest is the service. The staff are always very friendly and attentive to what you might need, very much appreciated. They have several rock stars who we have come across but Abby, Megan and Ola stand out, Always more than,,,,,, friendly and knows how to pour the perfect pint" Thank you

Came with a friend for all you can eat wings. Service was a little slow but the server was very nice. Food tasted great, came out hot and the flavours were great. Tap to pay available, will go back again

We have gone 2 times to enjoy some all you can eat wings. We had boneless/bone-in with many different sauce options and we loved them all! We really enjoyed the food. The fries where really good! Service our first visit was good. Food was out fast and our server was great! Our last visit was much different with our server being MIA most of the time. Drinks took 15 min to get to our table and food was 45 min for first round of wings and 30 min Wait for second round. The atmosphere was good, bar style, however the music was very loud and so the people where even louder. I give this restaurant 4 stars for now because the food was great and that's really what it's mostly about! Hoping the service issue was a one off issue! Check it out for yourself!

Mixed feelings I'd say. Came for 2 orders All You Can Eat Wings.. value is ok I guess, good deals on wings aren't as common these days.. service and wait times very slow.. Got served drinks pretty quickly but food took way too long to come out. Waitress was nearly impossible to hear, she kept whispering for some reason?As for the food itself.. I find it strange they give you such a small portion of fries.. surely they must be dirt cheap and fill people up cheaper than wings? I had to ration them so I didn't run out.Wings themselves started out better then progressively got less appealing. They were nice and small fryer sized at first which I prefer because the wings weren't crispy enough to begin with. Later refills they started giving us these gigantic drumsticks that were just kind of too big and chewy.. and that's what lead us to ask for our bill and leave before we were really truly satisfied.. I would've liked another couple rounds but knew we were supposed to be forced into eating huge oversized drumsticks we didn't want..Would probably be a 3 star experience BUT we happened to luck into $5.50 pints while we were there and that's a fantastic deal.4 stars.. wings need to be cooked crispier and stop dumping the weird jumbo drumsticks on me once we hit the refill stage please. Then we'd come back.ALSO: Why no Innocente beer? They've got a great Pilsner

We frequent St Louis Bar & Grill on Northfield Drive in Waterloo often. We come for the food and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Our servers are always friendly and attentive to any special food requests we have. We truly feel like part of the family here! After Covid hit, good service has been difficult to find. I say this because I am a trained chef and know what to look for when it comes to good service. One notable feature is the patio is dog friendly! Keep up the good work St Louis Waterloo!

St. Louis Bar & Grill
Stopped in yesterday. Had a pretty good experience. We ordered this huge poutine/chicken tender pile which was delicious. I just wish there was more chicken. There were only a few small pieces that i could tell. And the people who were with me both had to send their beer back twice as everything they tried was flat. Once that gets fixed im sure it will be great.

Food was ok, service a little slow, they only had two servers. Outdoor patio is nice with the exception the smoking area is only a meter away from it. (Pretty sure that is illegal) .This place used to be great but on a Saturday afternoon, and there was only a few groups of people there. It is worth a visit if you want to avoid a crowd, but they have to get rid of the smoking area and work on speed if they want to stay in business.....
