Maduban Indian Cuisine

I recently ordered a bulk order from Madhuban Restaurant for a party, and I must say, they were absolutely fantastic! The team there was so cooperative and sweet, making the whole process a breeze. The food was amazing! The flavors were on point, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. Madhuban Restaurant definitely knows how to impress with their delicious cuisine. Highly recommended for any occasion where you want to treat your taste buds to something truly special!

We’ve been to a lot of Indian cuisine restaurants over the years and this was one of the best we’ve been to! The flavours were outstanding, and the person who greeted us as we picked up our order (the owner?) was very friendly! The only thing I’ll note is the naan and samosas were a little greasy, but the flavour was so so great we didn’t mind at all! We will definitely be back again soon.

Look no further, go here! I had the lunch special. Very tasty, low price and big portions. Also the staff was very friendly and professional. It should be noted that the lunch menu includes buttered naan, rice, raita, onions, and another small side of something I don’t know what it was. I’m happy I went in there, I was so full and I eat a lot normally. Big platter like I used to love from Indian cuisines.

Loved it and it had that kick and flavour!! The closest I've been to having biryani back home in Nanaimo !Tried the Shrimp biryani and the Chicken tandoori. The quantity is great, more than enough for one person !! Loved the raita served with it as well !! Highly recommended if you're in Nanaimo !!!

My recent experience at madhuban was nothing short of a disaster. I had ordered a meal from them with high hopes of indulging in delicious Indian cuisine, but what I received was far from satisfactory. The restaurant not only delivered uncooked chicken but also proved to be deceitful and unreliable when it came to their promises of reimbursement.First and foremost, I was appalled to discover that the chicken in my order was completely raw. It was not only unsafe to consume but also an unpleasant sight to behold. This was a clear indication of the restaurant's utter disregard for basic food safety standards. I have never encountered such negligence from any establishment before, and it left me questioning their competency in the kitchen.Naturally, I immediately contacted the restaurant to inform them of the inedible food they had delivered. To my dismay, their response was utterly disappointing. Instead of showing genuine concern or taking responsibility for their mistake, the person on the other end of the line dismissively stated that they tell everyone they'll reimburse them, but they don't actually mean it. This shocking revelation made it abundantly clear that customer satisfaction means nothing to this establishment.As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism, especially when I encounter such an egregious error. However, the dismissive attitude displayed by madhuban was utterly disheartening. It is both unethical and deceitful to make promises that they have no intention of fulfilling. This lack of integrity severely tarnishes the restaurant's reputation and erodes any trust that customers may have had.

We had Valentines' Day dinner out on Feb 15 and were the only patrons eating in. The food was great, the price was reasonable, service good, and ambience funky. The menu was extremely comprehensive, creative, with many dishes we have not seen anywhere else, and we have eaten in many Indian restaurants over the years. We had spinach and cheese naan, goat mint curry and a crispy cauliflower appetizer that were excellent. Servings are generous. Not licensed, but chai tea was good.

I ordered from this restaurant and the food was completely uncooked. I called them and they promised me a complimentary dish on my next take out which was denied by saying we say that to customers a lot and never fulfil it. This is one of the worst customer service I have experienced and I am short of words. Please improve and don’t let it happen again.

The best Indian restaurant in Nanaimo!I tried many Indian restaurants but from now on this one is my favourite!Good service, food were so tasty and good quantities.We ordered 4 different dishes and all of them were very good:)Highly recommended.
