Belgravia Park
We happened to be driving through Belgravia and the kids were restless so we hopped out and tried the park. There are two main sandy play areas - one for kids under 5 and one for older. The younger area includes a three-pronged sand and water station that will be huge fun once the water is turned on. Then there are 2 infant swings, a play house with a tunnel, slide, and short monkey bars, and another little play house with a general store window. There is also a 4 seated wobbler. This area of the park has easy access to the Belgravia Community Hall and there is tree shade and 3 colorful metal grate short picnic tables perfect for kids. The older children climb up about 8 steps to the larger park area which has multiple climbing structures, very tall slides (15 feet approximately), a bridge, multispring teeter totter, 4 soft rubber swings, and a modernized merry go round which is a tilted O-shape that was grips and rotates.Warning for those who have weak ankles: I do not have weak ankles nor coordination problems and I tripped twice in the play area. The teeter totter starts on the paved area around the park then comtinues into the sand. I was helping my child use it as a balancing beam when I walked right off the cement into the sand while holding his hand and pulled him off the teeter totter - ouch. Then near the entrance to the tall slides there are triangular steps instead of normal rectangular ones and I turned around and my son was on his head and I was thinking how did he fall ? Then I fell down too. You can't differentiate the step edge if you climb up to the slide and decide to go back. There needs to be a spray painted color strip on the edge or something. I saw 2 other children trip at the same spot and there were only 5 children at the park over the 1 hour.

we love this park! It has two playgrounds, one for younger kids and one for the older ones. The younger kids playground has a sandpit with it as well and there is a great little hill for rolling down in summer and sledding down in winter! The community hall has just been renovated and is looking fabulous! Our favourite park in the area!
