My husband & I had lunch here and the food was excellent! The staff were very friendly. Also a fellow that we are assuming is the owner went around to everyone to make sure they were happy & satisfied with their meals. We ate outside and all the outdoor tables were very clean. I would highly recommend Le Gouter & we can't wait to visit again.

Only tried their ice cream but they seem to be one of the few restaurants in the grand beach greater area who are taking covid rules seriously, I appreciate that. They were regularly cleaning their outside tables and had appropriate line spacing. As for the icecream they had a great assortment of flavours and the waffle cones were crisp and tasty.

I went to Le Gouter on Monday, August 29th with two friends for lunch with reasonable expectations and they weren't met. I ordered the Michelle's crepe; it arrived slightly warm, flavorless, the crepe was tough and over cooked. This was not a good value as per the size. The establishment was clean. Food service was reasonable. Plate presentation was sub par. By and large the experience was quite disappointing.

Out in the rural of Manitoba (near to lakes and beaches) sits a delightful French restaurant.The buckwheat crepe was made to order with spinach, ham and cheese. Magnifique!The pizza is served on those high silver trays you see in movies set in New York. The Reuben sandwich hit all the right notes.This is a casual place and many folks take-out. We sat in the dining area to the left of the counter where you place your orders.A local recommended this restaurant and it truly delivered!

Nice little drive-in near Grand Beach with great food and snacks. It got quite busy just before closing time (6:00) and since we were there on May long weekend it felt like the staff were brand new and a little unsure of themselves. I'd expect that service goes up in quality later in the season.

I waited 40 minutes for 2 poutines and a drink (that they forgot. No ice and half filled) with no apology for the delay. The poutine was a child’s portion. The gravy tasted like pure salt, along with 2 curds of cheese. I watched as orders were brought out, staff were having to run after costumers multiple times for forgotten food items. This place is disorganized and deeply disappointing. Don’t waste your money and time, wouldn’t recommend.
