Brought a vintage 1920's zoot suit in to be repaired and altered for a New Year's Eve party. I needed the repairs and alterations done within a week, over the holidays, and she got it done. She tailored the vest, jacket and repaired a tear in the knee. It was a delicate job and she did great! The price was so reasonable I left a 50% tip. Highly recommend!

I had a jacket needing fixing, so I brought it here. The price was very fair, and the jacket was fixed perfectly, I can't tell that the jacket was ripped before. I recommend this place if you need clothing repaired!

Would 100% recommend going here. I had a wedding in Winnipeg, flew from Ontario and couldn't get my pants tailored before the flight (turnaround time was too long). Got it done here, dropped it off and picked it up next day at noon. Got my dress pants hemmed and tapered. I was nervous as I haven't had good experiences in the past with tapered pants. Got my pants and tried them on, couldn't be more satisfied! They fit perfectly and the taper looked perfect!

Excellent little shop. I've brought pants for hemming, suits for slight alterations, And other minor tailoring needs over the past years. The service is always straightforward, prompt, and reasonably priced. I'll continue coming here.

I’ve been going to Hat Phan for over 5 years. I trust them with every piece of clothing I need altered. They’ve done an excellent job with each and every piece Ive brought in. Here is a list of notable clothing they tailored for me: a heavy vintage wool coat (needed it taken in and this thing was thick!), jeans, work pants, evening dresses, wool blazers, and so on. I honestly can’t remember everything I’ve brought in but they do amazing work. She is truly excellent at her craft and I wouldn’t trust anyone else in Winnipeg.

Staff was friendly and can do sewing like hemming and replacing zippers very well. One star for that. But when it comes to altering and tailoring they are horrible. I brought in a work blouse that was too big. They measured me with it on to fit better. 3 weeks later it was supposed to be ready. From the side it was perfect. But in the back it horrendous looking. All the material was taken from the side leaving the back with a clump of material. Not cut, not fitted, nothing. When I pointed it out, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I ended up bringing it to another place who fixed it, charged me less and in less time.
