Rockway Golf Course

Solid course and well maintained. Minus 1 star because more often than not pace of play is pretty awful and you're consistently waiting for groups ahead of you.With a cart and our group of 4: we're bogey golfers who consistently shoot 85-95, we can easily finish 18 in 3.5 hours. 4.5 hours is insane, how many balls are these people hitting?

The city or this company has to install a net for the new iron trail beside it. I was biking by today and heard a golf ball fly by and hit the small garage building beside the iron horse trail. This will seriously injure someone.

Nice little course here. Only thing they need is some signage stating where some of the next tee blocks are they have none. After the par 3 home 4 you driving to the next tee box and it's hole 16 without signage you have to figure out to keep driving by it down a trail across an intersection of a fairly busy street down the street on the sidewalk/cartpath a good 2 or 300m again without a single sign. other than that it was a nice little track and had fun overall

Nice course for any playing level. Most of the course is well maintained but there was some dry grass near par 4. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Great little golf course if a little narrow, which makes shot selection that much more important. Priced very well!

We love to golf at Rockway!! The course is always in great shape and spread out nicely!! Kudos to staff for all their hard work keeping the course looking good!!

The club set I rented was not merely substandard they were junk. Old, some grips were frayed. The course was ok.

The course was dry in areas, but we have had a lot of hot windy days so that is to be expected. The layout is short, but there are a lot of strategic shot choices because of narrow fairways and protected greens. Any staff we talked to were great, especially the Marshall's who quickly helped with a golf cart breaking down. With the short layout, I can definitely see there being problems with pace of play. But we moved along pretty well on a busy day.

Great hidden gem with character and cool back stories (hint: Stanley Thompson, Moe Norman etc). Small, protected greens and narrow fairways make it a challenge to break par….which for those saying it’s an easy track, I’d welcome a round with you anytime to see you do it ;-)In my opinion the conditions have been amazing the last few years, even through drought and some pretty intense storms. I’ve been told they’ve allowed the turf crew to have more free reign over the course conditions but regardless, kudos to the superintendent and his extremely small team… keep up the great work!Greens roll well, it’s maintained great and they’re growing the rough a little longer than in the past. It would be nice to see more people fix their ball marks, like anywhere on the public side. The clubhouse staff are also great and food is as good as you’ll get for public golf!
