CDI College - Edmonton South

Go to a public college, cheaper, and alot more grants and aburseries available to help you, so you can focus on your education. This organization, maxes out your annually loan amount, and then formulate how to charge you for the fees student aid sets fourth for living expenses. They do this by having you take the funds deposited into your account, and give it to them for books. Books you will never receive, they are all online for a total of about $300 for unlimited access. They charge you and every student $1000. That alone should shine a light on the integrity of this institution, and their interest in your education. Look for their fine print after your finacials are agreed to and accepted through student aid, they will have another contract they give to you while they hand you gifts for starting with them. This is a contract that they put more details to make you owe them more then you agreed to at the beginning. They do this because their turn over is so high, they want as much money as they can squeeze. Don't initial it. That's OK they will forge it and threaten to send you to collections. Look up law suit 2018 nurses students for more of a picture of what your getting into bed with. This organization goes through staff as fast as students. This scam should be shut down. Everything is online. They just charge you more to say it was a classroom coarse with a teacher to read slides. No respectable company recognizes CDI.Hope this helps.

Overall I have had a good experience. I am a graduate from Accounting and Payroll and Network Systems Administrator. I did two years and started in the old campus and moved to the current campus. My instructors were amazing they knew their coursework and taught you eveything well. All of my instructors however have moved on to bigger and better opportunities. I have no experience with the new instructors who are working at this location now.

Never go with CDI. Their course cost off of money and no job. They don’t even help with practicum. They are horrible in communication. CDI show you big dreams and no graduations. My daughter has to harass them when is graduation. No one has answers.

I just finished my program here today. I was so lucky to have this school coz they helped me a lot especially where I could get a place for my practicum. They did helped me find a place to do my practicum but not only that, In that the same place where I got my practicum I got hired. So big thanks to CDI south!!!

I just enrolled at CDI college Edmonton South campus and so far so good. Finished the student success strategy, and Microsoft word and I must say the instructors are amazing. Kathy Norton and Dennish James are amazing instructors. Can't wait to meet the others and from these few weeks into my program, I must say, so far so good.

They made us sign a fine print saying we have to settle issues with the College prior to making a negative review but 1 year later and my friend still didn’t get her referral fee!We have reached out to their Assistant Director of Admissions, Education Manager, and Student Services Coordinator, but with no luck! Everyone was just giving us the run around. The online classroom setting was okay, but the teacher was not approachable, she didn’t reply to our emails most of the time. There was no graduation or recognition upon completing our 6 month course. Also, when i enrolled it said there was gonna be an Internship but the assistant director did not even know about it.So no, i will not be recommending this school to my friends and family, in fact i will be telling them to stay away.

I am genuinely grateful for the opportunities and experiences I have had at CDI College South Campus. The knowledge and skills I have acquired will undoubtedly impact my future endeavors. To our two outstanding instructors in Cybersecurity, Mr. Vaneetpal Singh and Mr. Hammad Mansoor, thank you. Your expertise, dedication, and passion for teaching have made a profound impact on my learning experience.

I did the Medical Office Administration in downtown Edmonton, Alberta at CDI. I was one of the blessed ones that got a good job more than 9 years ago. It was a HUGE mistake taking this course! It cost over $18000, classes were disorganized, the teacher" for business writing had us reading from books

Very unprofessional in regards of returning your call and responding to email it’s is so unfair I don’t think I’m the only students who have been in this situation with the college the system is broken I took a student loan to study MOA after completing my practicum I was promised that it will be 7 weeks to graduate and uplift my certificate and was promised by staff that they will help me in the job hunt and every time I booked the meeting the guy canceled and never responded to my email or call I call the office twice to speak with the supervisor or whoever is in charge of my course but she never answered or replied to my email it’s like we have to begged them to respond I only feel this is like a scam and through out the 11 months course it’s been like 6 different people took over my course I was always told that the person quit or no longer work for the company.

I strongly urge CDI College to address this issue promptly and reevaluate the conduct of their staff members. My encounter with Asra Ranjbaran, the Assistant Director of Admissions at CDI College, was thoroughly disappointing. Her rude and commanding attitude overshadowed any positive aspects of the college, leaving me with a negative perception overall. I sincerely hope that CDI College takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure a more respectful and welcoming environment for future students.
